We aren't sure of the provenance and we have no information beyond the images, but these could be the first sketches of the oft-rumored Audi e-Tron (http://www.autoblog.com/tag/e-tron) Spyder that's supposedly set to debut at the Paris Motor Show (http://www.autoblog.com/category/paris-motor-show/). As you'd expect, this convertible creature appears to be based on the design of the e-Tron Concept shown at the Detroit Auto Show (http://www.autoblog.com/2010/01/11/detroit-2010-audi-e-tron-take-zwei-or-drei-w-video/) this year, not the original concept (http://www.autoblog.com/2009/09/15/officially-official-frankfurt-2009-audi-e-tron-4-motors-1-b/) shown in Frankfurt (http://www.autoblog.com/category/frankfurt-auto-show/). Still, no word on the powerplant involved, but if it is headed for production expect a run of 1,000 units (http://www.autoblog.com/2009/12/08/audi-e-tron-sales-to-be-limited-to-1-000-units/) in 2012.
