AutoX awards banquet, pics included..56K ok!

Saturday night was the awards banquet for the SWVR SCCA AutoX chapter.
movFast attendance consisted of:
Davis and Jenny
Robbie and Stef
Troy and April

It was a great time. Good food, videos and awards.

Robbie took the silver (1st place) cup class win for Street Mod class. (a very difficult class!)

I took the silver cup class win in A stock class.

Troy looks set to take STS in 2005 right?! 8)

Anyways the next AutoX is THIS COMING SUNDAY!

Lets get the movfast guys and gals together for some good cone smashing.

P.S.

One of the interesting stats of the night (there were many) was the off course excursions, missed gates etc..
first place went to a blue WRX
second place went to myself.
Maybe there is some kind of gentic code in Subarus that they must deviate from the normal road or something...I can't figure it out 8)

Auto-x is the day after my birthday :D
I still have to cram in a bunch of work between now and then in order to be fully prepared, but I'm ready mentally. I was about 6 seconds behind Bryan Price and Scott Byrne and a mere tenth of a seconnd ahead of Jeremy Johnson in the Focus. 6 seconds is a big gap, but considering the experience level of me vs. Bryan and Scott, it's not impossible. I still have a lot of modifications that I can do and still be in STS. I just finished installing my front bar a few days ago and it seems to have helped a bit. I am excited to see what kind of course they set up for this event. I wouldn't consider either of the courses I have driven on to be necessarily tight or open, but I would love to try either one. Anyways, I could ramble on and on all the way until we leave to go to autocross, but I'll stop.
I was quite proud of the MOVfast'ers last night. Even I had a spot in Davis's video :lol: .

I guess I'm in for the long haul this season. I think April and I are running registration and will probably also become members.

Yeah, that stuff was really nice Davis. I was amazed to see that we also got a glass to take home.
