Had a leaky PCV line :x :x :x

Nice thick hose coming from the intake manifold.

The car had idle'd weird for a few weeks and I thought it was the spark plugs that I had just swapped. It also didn't feel to get going as it did when I first drove home, but I thought that was just me getting used to the power. Then my gas mileage seemed to keep dropping, was maybe 9mpg at best. Not cool...

I didn't notice it until I changed the oil last week...heard a huge air leak but had no idea where it was coming from. Didn't think too much of it.

Well the leak finally got worse and completely collapsed the line, causing the car to not idle at ALL and just die out. I had to drive it to mclinton's rev'ing it all the way making sure it didn't die... :(

$150 and 5 days later (waiting for the line to come in) the car idles great and feels plenty stronger

And is now in the shop getting the 4.10s put in, and then long tubes/ORY next week now that i've found a 'friendly' exhaust shop

Come on now, don't be tight-lipped. Who's the "friendly" exhaust shop?

Good to hear you got the car fixed. Is it OBDII? What year is it? I'd like to hook up my data logger to it. Never had it hooked up to a stroked V8.

It's a $10,000 fine for a shop to remove my cats, but if I did (or claim I did) it's a fix it ticket. Get my drift?

If you guys have another cookout and get bored, could you help me throw the LTs on? 6 hour+ job by myself with my ghetto jackstands, but we could do it in under 3

Yeah it's OBDII, more than welcome to hook your logger up, i'd love to see what's goin on in there 8)

What are LTs? Maybe, I'm having a brain fart?
