fyi if anyone you know calls an asks if yuo can help him put big-tube 1-3/4 headers on a mustang.. decline as fast as you humanly can

the h-pipe an flowmaster catback is still on it, gona be coming off tomorrow.. a local place is gona run me dual 3" from the headers back and fab a balancer pipe in the middle like an h-pipe.. all i gota do is figure out what mufflers to get, im leanin tward warlocks, cause they sound absolutely awesome

thnx.. i just been workin on it here an there for the past 2 weeks, need a mac cold air intake for it yet, then under the hood is done.. got a bunch of exterior stuf for it, prob start on that next week.. id like to have this thing done my mid march, april at the latest

i have the cobra kit on it tho, instead of the gt fx

it should be running by tonite.. it depends on how motivated i get really. dont really feel like bolton on the factory airbox and intake when ill just have to take it back off to put the mac on, but i may if i get bored. i really wana find out what it sounds like runnin just open headers with no exhaust lol

lol yea.. even ragged out pile mustangs sound good.. i dono the truth in it but everythign ive ever read about them is they sound the way they do mainly because of the firing order of the motor, i dono..

well it actually fired up and ran.. it was just a bit loud with open headers an the cam thumping, my neighbors loved it.. lol
now to let it sit for another few weeks while i figure out what color its gona be an what wheels to buy.. that and bein as how i have another project that needs some attention this week

haha i'll let you drive it if you promise to wrap it around a telephonepole or launch it into the river.. im gettin sick of lookin at it. i'll let ya know when it's done tho.

really my biggest holdup is figuring out what im gona do with it from here.. as of last nite my mind was made up on glacier white paint, white 18x9 saleen wheels powdercoated white, an i got the 93 cobra tail lights which have the black strip in the middle.. gona paint that white as well. i even went 110% ricer an bought white/clear underbody kit.. i think it would look good bein as how the whole car will be white..

i got a good deal on a 89 lx 5.0 that comes with a truckload of bolt-on's like long tube headers, pulleys, intake, gears, a bunch of other stuf.. everything is new stil in the box's. only thing is it's a hatchback.. an im wanting a notchback cause yuo dont see them all too often.

well i did it.. bought a complete single turbo kit for my mustang this morning. according to the manufacturer, the stock injectors will work just fine up to like 7psi. they reccomend a higher volume fuelpump but i allready have a bbk pump so im good there.. man, i just got those headers on too.. now ones gota come off lol

Ever think of doing a 2.3 turbo? There was a guy at National Trails didnt have the SVO or whatever the turbo mustang was but had a 4 cylinder car and put a Thunderbird motor in and was running 11s with minimal work.

cant wait to see a turbo mustang around here....btw I have noticed that you are right and the notchbacks are getting kinda tough to find...oh well mine is a heavy slow convertible....oh yeah..nice pics of the engine looks good!
