I think you're going to find that they go for premium prices everywhere...I guess just look out on all the dsm forums, and like dsm trader...i'll keep my eyes peeled.

I thought they were really close to getting the DSMLink to work on later model DSMs? Is there a waiting list for that?

Being as I'ma noob in the terms of Mitsubitchie, does it matter what model it comes out of? Does it have to be out of a AWD Turbo car or can it be out of a FWD NA GS? Just so long as its a 95 right...is that model year or construction year?

Are there any pictures of what the eprom looks like? (In case I run across one of these in the junkyard I can at least tell whether its the right thing or not.

its my understanding that any turbo model ecu will work..but it has to be from a 95 model car...and it has to have the eprom chipset..from what i can tell it looks just like a regular ecu on the outside, but it has an E on the tag near the numbers to designate it as an eprom unit ( the majority of the 95 turbo cars were eprom)

im trying to find the 95 ecu because im a little skepticle of the "just a few months" claim for having it ready to go on the 96+ecus

it has to be an exact match, if you have turbo awd then you need turbo awd. mine died a horrible death

Ive used FWD ecu's in AWD cars, but I would recommend the same trim.

any 95-96 ecu would do the job, same as 1ga, and 1gb cars, 2ga, and 2gb

goto http://www.dsmtuners.com
and post in the classifieds what your looking for.

no..95s are the only ones that had the eprom...i guess they figured out it would be to easy for people to take the chip out and hack the code so they did away with the eprom chip in all other ecus besides the 95
