Well, Since we are like the first 6 or so members, a lunch meet would be nice to share some ideas for getting the word out on the site. I come up with some wild ideas, this being one of them. Since we are kinda gonna be the "senior members" of this forum, it would be nice if we took sorta a leadership role, and if anyone needs a little help working on their cars, we could help each other, like a car club of such. Just some ideas, if theres better, tell all of us, lol.

I'm up for lunch. Keep in mind I have a 2yr and 1.5month old and a wife who works. So, time is tight sometimes.

Let me see how she feels about a cook out at our house this weekend.

So, we buy her a new pair of Rollerblades cause her Wal-Mart knock-offs hurt her feet. The good news... They don't hurt her feet. The bad news... We went to the park, laced up the skates, took off(me pushing double stroller and all), she can't get slowed down, so she wrecks on purpose. Long story short, she went home to her parents(3hrs away) to get help with the kids.

So.... Who's up for the cookout? When should I have it?

so the wife has a bad case of rollerblader's elbow eh?

I'm always up for cookouts or lunch/dinner meets..
but this 60hrs/wk is really cramping my style!

I'll be glad when I get laid off, I might be able to get the kyb agx's installed on the car.. (although, I may attempt that this weekend)

a 'cruise in' to the north end tavern sounds pretty good to me.. soon as I get a day off or two..

OK, here's the plan. Cookout at my house this Saturday. I'll supply the food and my drinks. Hotdogs on the grill. Bring your own drinks. Drink alcoholic beveraged if you want. However, I do not support drinking and driving. So, either don't get too wasted, or plan on hanging out or sleeping over to sober up. I have a nice spare bedroom and a couple of couchs, your welcome to them.

We'll probably have a very informal meeting/discussion session about the website/group. So, keep the ideas on your mind or write them down.

Other things to expect:
Lots of show and tale
Lots of car talk
XBOX(lots of racing games)
A movie prehaps... any suggestions??? (wait till you see my home theater)

Time: Lets shoot for 3:00PM

Some of us need not fear gravel and potholes ;)

I'm going to try to be there. Probably going to run down to Charleston to get the Miata diff from Joe then stop at Robbie's on the way back.

Do I need to bring some extra Xbox controllers? Anyone play Halo or are we going to be all racing games only? ;)

If you want, bring xbox controllers and an XBOX. We can play networked Halo.

I moved here in Dec 2000. It's always been paved since I've lived here. I have no clue as to when it was paved. I don't think there are any pot holes.

Cool, I need a challenge ;) I assume you've got a router and cables? I've only got 2 controllers but I can acquire some extras if it comes necessary.[/quote]

Someone bring a camera. It appears that my wife borrowed mine... I mean hers.

Also, if we stay sober. We could go for a cruize after we get done here. What do you guys think? If we go for a cruize, it would be nice to have a few more FRS/GMRS radios... I have 2.

Could someone bring some ice. So, I don't have to go back out and get it.
