Here ya go.

Has to be the first time that my first run was the fastest. Usually I drop a second on each run. Oh well.

Like I said earlier, 2nd run I hit a cone but it didn't really matter as there was no way I was going to beat the 1st run time in these worsening conditions.

The 3rd run (check "Drift" video) was definately our fun run as we didn't care bout time but decided to see who can throw the car around the most as an unofficial drift run. Weeee..we were cracking up the whole time!

I wish I woulda gotten more video of the other guys...people were sliding out all over the place. It woulda made for a great bloopers video :D

I have never seen so many FWD cars oversteer so badly. All PJ did was put his wheels and tires back on and he was sliding. I guess it was his pressure setup...?

Yeah I wanna see some of his stuff. Tell him to send you the drifts, slides, and spins. I also wanna know what kind of mount he was using...it looked like an imitation version of mine :? . I hope someone didn't rip off the idea from the Sticky Pod.

I just watched that Drift video and it's pretty sick. It was also nice to see that course at a decent pace. It took me like 30 seconds to get from one cone to the next lol. If necessary, Martin can upload them to our server or he could just get on Grouper and let you download them in the raw, unedited form. There were a few videos on the DVD that I wish I had in raw form. I got a good clip of Matrin shootin a fireball in the slalom on sunday :shock:

Sadly that's an autoX event I could have made and didn't see the post about it in time. The drifting part would have been lots of mad fun.

He hasn't replied to my e-mails that I sent yesterday morning, I think he's pretty busy. I grouper whatever I get plus send you a CD of any hi-res RAW footage.

an STi has a much better chance of becoming a drift car than an Si, but I wouldn't consider the STi (or any AWD car) to be good for drifting. Although I've seen some AWD drifts, it takes A LOT of speed to keep 'em sideways for as long as a good slide calls for. I did see your drift video, and no offense to you Davis, but have you seen Keiichi Tsuchiya drive, what you were doing was more child's play than drifting.

Well your right about that. Isn't Millen also a rally racer. If anyone can slide an AWD, a rally racer would be the guy. I do agree that it is possible to drift in an AWD, it's just not an ideal slider, like say an AE86. There is a reason you don't see many/any cars in D1 that aren't RWD.

Yes he is a rally amoung other things racer. In D1 theres also a 88-91 civic hatch that does alright.

I don't think Davis ever claimed to be the Drift King, though Tsuchiya does. No offense to Tsuchiya and the other originals, but I have lost a lot of interest in drifting. Mountain roads=cool. Some surfer dood commentating while 2 guys drive the same 3 corners back and forth in show cars=kinda lame.

The Real drift (Japanese) guys are of the highest caliber. If they wanted to hit a fast lap, they wouldn't have a problem doing so. The drifting part is just another higher level that displays their abilities.

Those mountain road drifts are rather ballsy IMHO. To crazy for me., hehe.

Speaking of racing...who stuck the camera on my the third run??? I did a ton of drifting that run and that video would be cool to watch but im not sure who it was?!?! He said he would make me a c.d of it...
