Check it out. FINALLY came in today! TRUE H.i.d.'s. 6000k's. I'm a little leary of tryin' to make it out to my garage to install it, but I can't resist. I'll post some pics when I'm done.

This is a REAL xenon bulb. Not the fake ones they sell at auto zone or advanced for 40 bucks. A xenon bulb does NOT have a filament for christ's sake.

I think when they were calling bulbs Xenon...they were referring to the gas inside....did you mean to say a true HID bulb, does not have a filament..... 8)

Ha ha ha. Yes, that's what I meant, just worded improperly. Thank you for clarifying that.
I got them from xenon depot.
And I'm not sure what the evo's have for h.i.d.'s. They're REALLY blue, but they aren't that bright. Probably 8000's.

Well I got them installed and I have to say I have never seen anything like them! Xenon depot uses all phillips ballasts, equipment and they make up the rest of the parts themselves. The wiring harnesses are basically just plug and play. What took me so long was I have these little x clips that are needed for the bulb to sit flush so I had to use a dremel tool and bore them out a bit. FITS PERFECT NOW! No vibrations, sealed, etc. So as far as comments I LOVE THEM! They light up the road like no factory hid kit and are not too blue for tickets. I'll get some pics soon.

No, my lights go at a slant so I think they may help with not blinding oncoming traffic. However, with a standard headlight assembly, I think you would. They set me back 570 bucks! Yeah yeah, I know. They're pricey, but they are top of the line. (Phillips) Plus you won't be disappointed at ALL with the output. You don't even need your brights. If you plan on going with hid's I wouldn't cheat out. That's when you hear about bad retrofits, etc. Clubrsx has TONS of discussions on hid's if you are really interested. I will get you some pics when I quit bein' so lazy. I don't have any before though

I know. I was very hesitant to spend money on HEADLIGHTS! But I wanted the projectors with halos and those are all pieces of crap that fall apart (Atleast for the rsx, I don't know about any others) But, then I thought about how much I actually complain about how my stock headlights SUCK! I could see literally 6 feet in front of me. And that was just the ground. Nothing beyond or up. Plus these are sexy! Nice blue tint at certain angles and like I said, the output is AMAZING! I'll get some pics once it's dark.

I was gonna hop on here last night at my shop and see if you wanted to stop out and have a look and help, but I was strapped for time because I had to write a paper too.

You'll really like your HID's. I will not buy another car without them. You can see sooooo much better at night..and that has made a difference for me in some close calls with multiple deer.
And yes, the EVO has HID's too. (in case there was a question bout that)
I believe they will become standard equimpment on nearly every car within the next 3-5 yrs.
About the bulb....I hope you were careful about NOT touching the bulb itself with anything including your skin/finger as the oils and dirt will eventually ruin the bulb. (I've heard in as much as a week or so)
anyways, your car looks awesome! Agreed...one of the few external "cosmetic" mods one can do to theri car that really makes a difference!
Well Done!

This is very true, one of the bulbs in my sister's civic crapped itself after less than 2 weeks. My Brother-in-law says he doesn't remember touching the bulb, but there was a print on it

WEll what year is your integra? It's not car specific but more of a bulb specific application. You should be able to just replace your stock bulbs, depending on what they are. Mine were H1's. Which the new bulb is a ds2, but it works for h1's. I had to do a little modication because I have these little "X clips" that actually hold the bulb in by a wire. (Sounds complicated, but is simple) I had to bore them out a bit and finally got it to fit perfect. All in all, they're a good investment. Like I said before though, don't cheap out. Pay the extra now rather than later. I've heard a lot of horror stories about bad h.i.d. kits. Xenon depot is the way to go. http://www.xenondepot.com

its probably gonna take some work to get them into my car.. Because for starters i have Jdm headlights.. so i had to swap the old headlight harness out for a civic harness so they would fit.. So im guessing i would have to look for something in the style of a 92-95 civic headlight H3- H4's i don't remember exactly.. :?

Maybe not. If you know what bulb you have, then get onto the xenon depot website and look at the application charts.
