Yea, awesome stuff!
I was hoping this wouldn't offend a domestic fan...I just think the big V8 in there is too cool.
Now if only we can get Kurt to offer his car for a V8 implant!

Although the V8 is sweet, If I had a Z, I'd keep the 2.4. Hmmmmm what about an SR20DET though?
there's a few 2nd gen RX7's in town w/V8's in them.. none supercharged tho, that is just too cool
one of my dad's buddies has an MG with a 327 and 4spd in it.. he took me for a ride in it one night an i was like sweet.. it goes everywhere but where you want it to go

Blasphemy!
Personally, if I were to do any kind of swap with my car, I would stay within the confines of Nissan-produced engines. I like the idea of a RB25 swap or a Endurance 5.4l but thats because of a preferance for Al engines. The SR20 probably wouldnt be bad, but I think a RB would be better since there is room for a I6.
I don't have any desire to drop an American V8 into that car.
well that guy spared no expense.. he had what i believe was an LS1? with a blower..
but mainly ppl just throw carburated 350's ect. in cars because its cheap.. if you look long enuff, sometimes in the buliten board, you can find a complete 350 for around $100+ you can get everything to rebuild it for about $200, pick up a turbo-350 auto tranny for once again.. in the $100+ range, have it rebuilt w/new torque converter for around 250, more if yuo want a shiftkit.. an there you are, roughly $700 or more in a basically stock V8 but put into a car smaller an lighter than a V8 was meant to be in..
but i see what youre sayin, keepin with your make is alot cooler.. alltho ive allways wanted to chevy power a mustang :D

I thought they were an inline 6 also, but I'm almost 100% sure they are still a 2.4, hence the name "240z"... the 300zx's have a 3.0, the 350z has a 3.5 and so on and so forth.

Yes, they are 6 cylinders. The newer 240SX's are 4 cylinder but the original 240/260/280 were all inline 6's. They switched over to V6's with the 300ZX.
