SlowX7

You've all seen my RX-7. I'm kinda getting tired of it (20mpg just isn't enough). I'd like to trade it for something smaller with a 4cyl and a 5-speed.
The RX-7 is a 1988 SE, completely option-free except for A/C, and I'm not entirely sure it works (the car weighs 2700lbs in stock form). The only mods I've made are the eBay strut bar and cone filter intake. The exhaust catback is not stock, it's some local exhaust shop special using chrome tips and stainless steel wool packed glasspack-style mufflers (anything else would blow out). It came stock with 3 cats, but the leader is gutted. I'd have gutted the second too, but I got tired of fighting with the bolts. It has a brand new clutch put in like a month ago, with no hard launches on it. The reverse lights don't work because I forgot to reconnect the wires last time I was under the car. It could probably use a set of brake pads on the back. One of the rear rotors is fairly scored but the car still stops straight. The front end alignment is nearly spot-on. The front tires are less than a year old, and the rear tires I don't know anything about (they are off another car). I have an extra pair of wheels and 4 extra tires (none of the tires match) that can go with it. The car has 125,000 miles on it, with oil changes every 2500-3000 miles since I bought it (at 117,000 miles). It had just had a new crank angle sensor installed before I bought it, along with new plugs/wires. It has a slight miss, but I think it's due to the wires (one of them has elec tape wrapped around it for some weird reason, never peeled it back to see why). The car idles between 700 and 900 rpm once warm.
I have dozens of pictures, available upon request.
I'd like to get about $2000 out of it, or trade for basically any solid, reliable 4cylinder/5speed car. I would more than likely trade for any Miata that has a strong motor and transmission, virtually regardless to any body damage that is fixable.
If you're interested, PM or reply and we can work something out. I'm just getting tired of having the same car, and I want something I can go on long road trips in without spending a fortune on gas.
