I'm sorry if anyone on here is a big fan of that place, I myself, am not. I honestly hate it. When you walk into there, you are automatically struck by cocky attitudes and they have tried to take me for everything I had when I USED to give them my business.

Anyways, my point is not to bitch, but to tell you guys a little story. My father knows everyone out at Pioneer Chevrolet pretty well and they wanted to show him this brand new black vette. Well I guess this thing was DEMOLISHED. The owner left his brand new car at Audio Crafters for whatever reason overnight. Or perhaps the weekend. Anyways, I guess the owner of the store decided to take it out for a little "test drive" and ended up totalling the car.

I'm sorry, that's horrible and I would never trust a shop like that with my car. Let alone if the OWNER is as irresponsible as that! Just thought I'd pass along the word.

Ouch...

I would like to digress for a bit....one of my good friends works there in the "Sign Shop".....so please don't sterotype everyone....

Although I do feel your disgust about the situation....nobody respects anyone's property anymore.... 8)

Like I said I like them before but anymore it seems they are unproffesional and this would prove my point.

Oh no no no. I'm sorry if it seemed as if I was stereotyping everyone. I haven't even been in there in a while. I have never even dealt with the sign shop. I just meant the guy at the counter who I know is still there because I can see him in the window if I'm sitting in traffic sometimes. Ha ha ha. My bad on that

No need to apologize....I was just saying....there is actually a few good guys there...among the bad apples....

There is ABSOLUTY no reason to have something like this happen....if I owned the Vette...I would make sure they guy pays for his mistake....not his insurance company.... 8)

I'm sure there are. And my whole point wasn't to say everyone there is an asshole. (Just not to be misunderstood) But in that case, if you have that one bad apple, the reputation of the shop goes poo! Ha ha. I couldn't think of another word other than "poo" so you're just going to have to deal with it.

Yeah, i walked in there, with full intentions on buying a cd player for my car, well no one came up to me and talked to me because i guess im younger, so what finally made me leave was someone walking in, and him going up to this guy before me (he didnt know him) and showed him around the players and speakers

yeah, cant stand going in there...i only go there when i need something that i cant get anywhere else...they have the attitude because they are the only real stereo shop in the area....and truthfully there selection sucks...they push JL and viper stuff mostly...the high dollar JL stuff is good, but the entry level stuff sucks and i have never seen any of the viper equipment so i dont know if its good or not....I would be happy to see an alternative come into town, it wouldnt be hard to start a superior shop and put them out of buisness in a few years

Thank you for the correction on that. All I heard was that it WAS the owner.

But see, I don't agree with that. That's not the way a business should be run. You're here to do a service FOR the average joe. Not be a douche.

I think shafters does good work for the most part...especially with remote starts, they know what's up.

the viper stuff isn't too bad of stuff, but there is better for the money

One time while i was working in the roadshop at CC, some lady came in with a c5 vette and we got to talking about doing a burnout and she said she never did one in it before and she actually asked the my manager back there to do a big smokey burnout in the back parking lot....he was glad to oblige...it was pretty badass.

well viper is ok but to price e and not that grat but if you can Memphis amp are very good hm like the MClass represents the best in sound quality reproduction, smart features and performance that Memphis Car Audio has to offer. No compromises. and for woofers i know that they are price e but they should be cheper then the jlw7s the mtx 9500 12s or 15 or 10s they are will made Weighing in at over 50lbs each, the T9500 series subwoofers, available in 10", 12", and 15" models, are the most physically menacing woofers MTX has ever created. All are capable of handling between 750 and 1000 watts RMS; performance thanks in part to three gigantic, high-grade magnets and a 4" black anodized aluminum former with a voice coil made from 220° aluminum flat wound ribbon wire. The combination makes for the kind of conduction that would have split Ben Franklin in two.
and put it in a port ed box and in a hach back and you will be hear d mi away but if you want some thing that loud

neg...ebay is your audio friend...just be sure it says new in box and that your buying from a power seller...my last 2 systems have been built entirely off of ebay simply because those jokers at audiocrafters didnt want to sell me any speakers that day...guess buiness is so good that they dont need to actually try to sell product.
