Enjoy this vid that I took yesterday (Thurs).
It started off dry....then got soaked.
Got to find the limits on the Azenis pretty well. Not a good rain tire but made for some interesting moments. (hard to tell from bumper cam)
(caution, 30MB download, dial-ups will suffer)
Right click "save as..."

If that link doesn't work you can find it at my main site: http://www.skuttle.com/sccaautocross.html

Davis, it's roads like these that make me want to live here forever. Great video, man. I love that camera. What all have you done to your car? I don't wanna sound like your dad or anything, but I don't wanna see you get hurt. Though I thoroughly enjoyed the video, that was a bit risky, and I'd have to say that I woulda flipped you off if I saw you doing that...then I woulda been like "damn that looks fun" or "that was a sweet-ass Suby." The best part is wondering what the guy in the blue car with the flame paintjob was thinkin when you blew past him. "The beauty of all wheel drive." Thanks, Davis.

:D
Car is stock except for a BOV. (its really too loud IMHO)
I agree I was moving at a good clip in some parts, but I never went over 8/10th in rain conditions. I never go more than that on a road. There's just too many variables that can happen; animals, people, conditions, cars etc...
People out in these regions (like the BFE road I was driving) have no idea what my car is, which is fine with me. I wish I had a fast camera that would take snapshots of the expresions! 'gee Earl, u dat se dat dere carr?'
Glad you liked the vids. I'll take more in drier conditions.
Cheers,
Davis

killer vid..

I use Pinnacle Studios 9 for capturing and editing. The final encoding is done on Windows Media encoder so it can be "read" by almost anyone.
Resoultion isn't that great (U should see the full 800MB AVI file!) when compressed but is the only option as the raw footage is a little large even for broadband:)
When I burn directly to DVD it comes out rather well. After I get a few of these runs, I'll burn them all to DVD and we can watch them at Robbies cookouts:) along with the Getaway in Stockholm vid.
Have a good weekend

which GIS is it? I can't find any way to compress my video so that the turbo does not dostort (wmv makes it distort and everything else is like 80 megs for 4 minutes.
