I was never really into quads, though my family has had a few.. A Polaris 425 and a Banshee...mostly I was into motorcross/arenacross....did a lot of racing in highschool, partially sponsored by Honda of Troy before they switched to Yamahas....good times, I really miss it

Back home(Logan Co. WV) most people have as many "fourwheelers" as they do automobiles. 90% of them are four wheel drive models. The most popular brand is Honda. I rode quite a bit growing up. I don't get to go very much now, due to work and children.

I have ridden a Banshee.... It scared me. Those things are wicked!

I love riding. I bought a new 05 yfz 450 a couple months ago. I have done a couple mods to it and it really brought it alive. I wouldnt have ever thought they could make a 4-stroke with such a powerband. Anyone race motocross in here at pyramid valley.

Good to see you aboard bro. I'll take some pics of your ride and post them up for other quad guys to see.

both 450's out have power to spare it's insane.. the aftermarket for them is growing rapidly too, can you imagine once they start making stroker kits ect. for them? if they havent allready.. i have yet to see one tho

2 of my buddies race, we went to a few races last year.. i been kickin around the idea this year but i dono, honestly i really dont have the time to do it

they make a 470 kit for the 450r and a sleeve down kit that makes it a 440 so they can race it in the pro's but next year they are making the limit 450cc to race 4 strokes so honda doesnt have to sleeve down and also the 06 yfz will actually be a 450 instead of a 440 like mine is.

I love to ride. I only ride racers, never utilities. I stay away from mud but I love hill climbs and jumps. I have a YFZ 450 that I bought about 3 weeks ago. I live outside of Parkersburg and I ride on the land where the new route 50 is going through. I live in a suburb of Parkersburg called Washington and the land is only about a minute from my house. Much of the stuff up there would put a motocross track to shame!

My grandparents live out in Washington, near Lubeck right?

My Papaw showed me tons of places were people were riding and what not out there....

You are right, it would put a motocross course to shame....

This picture was taken before I punched a hole in my right front tire, but I have a new one on it now. I am planning to get some red filters for the headlights, it will look awesome. I am also going to line the overhang above the engine with blue LEDs to make the engine glow blue. I will order engine and rear swingarm skidplates soon and also an FMF Titanium Blue series pipe. Still running the engine in, right now I am just starting the third tank of gas. I have had the bike about 3 weeks and I am still amazed by how beautiful it is. :)

When I was talking about the picture I took I meant the one from the original post looking at the front of the bike. This picture was taken of a YFZ at High Point in Pennsylvania.

I love my YFZ! I would describe it as a crotch rocket on 4 wheels. I have ridden both 450s and I like both, but after riding my YFZ I can tell that it has an edge on the 450r, I think its because of the the 5-valve design.
