Hypocrisy is in the eye of the beholder in many cases. The statement I made is not contrary to my values, which makes your assessment of my post a moot point.

Allow me to clarify my statement... Consider the medium and context in which it is being used in this instance. I didn't say "I've never said that" or "That is racist and I'd never use a term like that". I merely stated that it was uncalled for.

The first amendment is alive and well, but there is an extreme difference between a humorous private conversation among friends who know each other's limits and an open public forum in which you (nor anyone else) has any idea at what parties are viewing said statements and at what level they may become offended.
