Well as the plan started out for the night we planned to put coilovers on jeremy's and Mike's cars..

It took us a couple hours to figure out what we were doing on jeremys car, and we finally got the front 2 done.. and it was completely slamme'd, his car rubbed when he turned his wheels.. So we raised it up about an inch and its looking great..

We will be working on the back tomarrow night, and maybe get to mikes car.... 8)

Sweet. I remember the first time I did a set of coilovers....it took Justin and I all day. Now I could do a set in no time flat...amazing how we learn....lol...

best way to learn is just to do it.. if you can take something apart you can put it back together, you just do it in reverse order.. however for some reason it seems you allways have peices left over after re-installation.. lol 'pocket peices'

What vw you got? I was looking at a gli with the 1.8t's before I got my car. Drove one, nice from the factory, but I changed my mind

I know most of us would consider driving a neon with a mitsubishi bumper an automotive crime, but is prison really necessary? :wink:

update, so far it was been to cold for me to work on my car and put the back ones on, mike on the other hand paid the guys at solo to put it on. It looks like his car has airbags on it, it is slammed and camber is crazy but hell he likes it and it looks really nice.

Ha ha ha. Mike, now come on dude. You know I could have done thar for far cheaper than what you paid and I would have done it quick. Sorry abou the water pump deal dude. I have been really hung up on a lot. The lift is tied up but I do have a jack and jackstands. A waterpump swap on the other hand...Lift is a necessity.

I was surprised when I changed mine, it wasn't that bad @ all.....

There were only a few times throughout the build that a lift would have been nice.....and even then it wasn't a big deal... 8)
