Do you have any idea who made your headlights? I assume the guy who owned the car before you bought them...

BTW, nice FMIC.

masakari

yeah, i have a front clip...i just havent got around to finish trimming it and getting it back on

the headlights i found on ebay...dont know who makes them but they are DOT approved and look 1000 times better then the old stockers did

thanks for the IC comments..but this one is actually just a baby compared to what im going to need if i ever go to a t3/t4 setup

didnt know anything about the tsi side skirts...that might have been on the 2gA body..95-96....besides..my car isnt a tsi...its just a lowly gs
no badging whatsoever on my car

to bad i cant anodize my IC black

don juan...saw you in marrietta monday...your headlights are brighter then the freakin sun!!!

Shorty TRM: here are the headlights like i have for a 99-03 stang ( i asssume thats what you have) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... gory=33710 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7954655621&category=33710)

lol...nope, I have a Grand Am GT and a Legacy GT. My friend has an Eclipse and I thought those headlights looked pretty good.

As for the IC, you shouldn't need a bigger intercooler than that for a t3/t4 unless the core of the IC isn't very thick or something. That's a pretty beastly intercooler as is. As for painting it, there's a company that makes a paint specifically for that purpose. It's called stealth coat or something like that and it's to improve the thermal efficiency of intercoolers and radiators while masking their appearance. I read a write-up about it a while back in a magazine (SCC maybe?).

lol, sorry about that man...the pic in your sig at first glance looked like a new mustang.. the core on mine can support up to 450 hp..but thats pushing it..buschur racing is making one now thats roughly 6 inches taller and 3/4 of a foot longer...it can flow enough for up to 650 HP...plus i am a show whore and it looks alot better then my current one

I wonder where i coudl find some of this paint you mentioned..i know it wouldnt hide my intercooler, but it would at least give it more of a sleeper look from a distance

no luck on turnig up any lights for a grandam or legacy

tell your buddy to search ebay for " eclipse projector headlights" they have all diffrent styles and configurations...i got mine for 135

Yeah, I'm kinda partial to that black on black theme. Try googling stealth coat intercooler paint or something like that.

*edit: that search will get you nothing lol. Try this SCC article...it talks about it a little bit, though this is not the write-up I mentioned.

Here's a good exaplme of a company selling some, but it's a little pricey at this place.

I used normal run of the mill spray paint for mine.

Paint does not effect the efficieny of an i/c if done in several thin coats.

There have been many test by several different companies, and they have all came to the same conclusion.

So needless to say, mine is now painted gunmetal.

Won't you have to buy your frontbumper special so it wont' have the Eagle or Mitsubishi badge on it? I've never seen one without them.

Nice car. The TSi sideskirts would like awesome on them. Some of the nicest looking DSMs are TSis with the 2G Eclipse front bumper.

i love the 2gb talon front bumper...besides that freakin crater emblem they put in it...i am going to try to find a way to fill it with a flexible filler and flush it off with the rest of the bumper....do you guys have any pics of these tsi side skirts??? cant say i really know what everyone is talkign about...i thought my car had all the highest trim level...guess not

I like the black on black theme, but im not sure i really like the wheels..to many spokes for my taste...i am thinking of going with some 5zigen typhoons in black or gunmetal...seen alot of diffrent wheels i really like..im going to stick with the black on black or black on gunmetal theme

SIadam...where did you find gunmetal paint at? a gunmetal intercooler with gunmetal wheels would look pretty slick

thanks for the compliments guys!

I sorta am following a similar theme.

Blue and black.

Blue Paint
Black Hood.
Black Wheels.
Black Headlights.
Black Intercooler.

I actually went to Walmart in Vienna, but I am sure any of them carry it. I will post up a pic of the paint can. Nothing special but it does a GREAT job. I also painted my i/c pipes with it.

Blackish/grey with metal flake. Fairly cheap also. 8)
