Hey, that's great I had to make a new thread for that. I felt pretty bad after I hit the deer  , thought it sucked pretty bad. Altough I did get lucky it didn't hit the intercooler.

But after looking up the suicide deer pics with the Sti, I feel much better.

I really didn't have it that bad at all, I was still clean after I hit the deer, it just got parked after I hit it.

So I just wanted to say thank you...

Yeah, I looked back and found a few more. That's pretty nasty, I am glad I didn't have to junk the interieor for something like that.

After I hit the Deer the only thing I was really concerned about was the front Mount IC. I jumped out and grabbed the flashlight to check. The bumper on the talon is on these shocks up front and I was worried that it had compressed into the IC. But it stopped an eighth of an inch out from it in the closest spot.

That had me pretty worried. But it was ok. I did decide to scrap the whole car though even though it probably could have been fixed cause the turnsignals didn't work any more (Not the switch or the flasher) water pooled up behind the front seats and a few other misc. problems. I figured just as easly to buy another one transfer parts and it would give me an excuse to do some of the other things I wanted to do.

Well, now 6 months later, I kinda wonder if it was the best idea, but I think it is just that I haven't had much time. LONG work hours. But I have vacation coming up in a few weeks so I am looking forward to spending the week in the garage! I want it back on the road by the end of that week.

I want to be able to drive it to work, gets much more mileage than my Dakota, and alot more fun to drive.
