Anyway...since somebody doesn't understand that FORUMS are for people to POST in...
Round 3.
I will start by continuing what Kak said in the first thread....mostly b/c I have nothing better to do....and I couldn't let him have the last word.....lol....
Addressing the issue of cable vs dial up and how it relates to picture sizes/etc.....

Paying more isn't a valid point. That is your choice. Also, many people with dial-up connections have two phone lines ($20 area for each?) and have to pay around $15-$20 for their internet connection. So they're at least paying in $30-$40 for 56k, while we're paying $40 for 1.5mbit-3mbit. Its more of a "we'd have it if it is available" kind of thing nowadays.

If you want to go that route, viewing it is your choice.
We could argue about this all day...
Life isn't fair....move on......
Thanks Robbie.... Cool

You're confusing choice with obligation. You using a huge avatar gives them no choice but to view it in every thread you post in (as well as everyone else who uses large avatars). Saying its also their choice to view the thread is horsecrap. Thats like saying you should be allowed to drive 100mph on the road because you say you can, but its my fault for choosing to drive on the same road as you.
No we couldn't argue it all day long, because you would have given them no choice other than to see your avatar. Thanks for the philosophical take on life though, not like I haven't heard that before.
I think you need to read up on the differences between obligation and choice.
Does someone hold a gun to your head and make you connect to the internet and visit movFast....if so, you have bigger problems than large avatars.
Driving on the road is not even a close comparision...nice try though.
If there is something you don't like, guess what....you don't have to do it....unless its stated as a law. So if large avatars, stupid conversations, and people ranting and raving about benign issues that mean absolutly squat.....bothers or offends you....
Try another forum, I hear http://www.j-body.org/ is looking for new members..... 8)

omg there really is a jbody.org ......
as you said tho.. i cant let YOU have the last word!
lol
Its not a close comparison? Maybe its just too straight forward and doesn't work for your arguement.
I'm looking out for other members. You're looking out for you're anything but absent coolness factor on the internet. Want to make movFast look more professional, personable, and easier to navigate? Leave out the huge avatars boasting your broke down rice and 400 smileys per post.
I don't come here to talk to you either. I don't need to change forums because I have a very basic disagreement with one member.

Why would this place need to look more professional, it's not a business..(yet)...how would a slightly larger avatar make it harder to navigate? 56k people would be able to download a 50k avatar in less than one sec....the old avatar would take .5 sec. an extra .5 sec. is not going to hurt someone who is already used to moving like a turtle. As far as you changing forums, I think your disagreement is with more than one member. ciao.

Chill out bro, we are just busting your balls......life is to short to be upset over crap as insignificant as this on an internet message board..... 8)

narf - no size limit was set until after the thread was locked. 50k is fine, but I doubt that is what was wanted. Also, kak are my initials. Nice try on the play on words, never heard that before either.
Broke down rice..heh. I have a blown talon and an 87 accord. I have it too.
