I had a great time today and it was a record turn out for the movFast.com crew:
Robbie
Kurt
Liam
Tim
Myself
Ricky
Tory
Jordan
Jamie
Rusty
and the movfast ladies
Temperature was perfect around 50 degrees. Clear sky. Track was short yet challenging with tricky sections and some fast horsepower blasts. We also had some fun runs. I was pretty happy with my runs. Went off course on my first (dummmy) run but then dropped some time after that.
I drove a Mini cooper with stickies. What a cool car! Not much power but the handling was very very good. Braking was awesome as well. Really taught me how to carry momentum into turns. Look forward to drive this mini again.
I also drove a VW GTI turbo diesel. Another great car that I've heard soo much about. Redline is 4600rpm and has tremendous torque. Braking and handling were also very good.
Pics are up...check thread other thread.
Vids little later this week.

You should replace one of your Liam's with Troy. Liam was only there once that I saw, and though I may not be from the MOV exactly, I am definitely a member of movFast.com.
On another note, I can't express how much I enjoyed today's event. From pulling back in the parking lot to see a $30,000 movFast Evo being pushed with a crowd of people behind it to seeing Davis's STi drifting all around the course only to see Brian Boggess get out of the driver's seat....while Davis was driving the Mpowered3. I hope everyone else had as good of a time as I did. The results are on swvrscca.org/forums under swvr discussion. I had a lot of trouble trying to stay on course at first, but I finally figured out what gate I kept skipping and pulled out a decent run. It was nice to see KMFDMK's Supra out there, too. Good job everyone.
*edit: No, "movFast ladies" doesn't include me

yeah, I was there quite a bit, and since there is only one of me driving, that you can't see me in, replace another, wink wink

My highlights:
Driving Brad Spurlocks C5 Corvette
Hearing Brads "this car is awsome" comment after he drove my Evo
Spinning 180 degrees about 3 times in the exact same place
Riding shotgun with Rusty and Ricky on their first run of their first autocross. Good job guys!
Watching Dan Whiteman run a 32.??? in the Porsche. He is amazing, so smoothe and just about flawless.
Michelle was riding shotgun with Liam during one of his spins. She said "it was fun!" .... and was in the car for his next run.
Davis took 1st place from me in SM. Good job. I'm gonna have my hands full this year.
See you in 2 weeks!!!

Brad's vette sounds like heaven (or hell?). That Silver Mustang was unbelievably loud. All the spinouts yeterday were very entertaining. Dan's car is intimidating to watch no matter how far back you're standing. The velocity that car has is incredible.
As for Brad driving you car, if that's who I saw/heard driving your car, you missed the best part. He had a grin from ear to ear as soon as he crossed the finish line and said something along the lines of "this thing is crazy" and just continued grinning. The best part about that was how excited you could tell he was.

High boost + Auto cross = check your intercooler piping and make sure its tight. Especly at the throttle body.

That first real Left hander gave a lot of high hp people a lot of problems, I had no problem getting loose in the saturn there but I did a fun run in a WRX and got to that same spot and the rear end steped out real quick but I held the drift all the thought the change over in the straight streach.
