Civic with a 4G63T?

OK, I met a guy(Justin) about 2 weeks ago who said his friend has a Blue 99' Civic with a 4G63T in it. That's a turbocharged Eclipse/Talon/Lazer(DSMs) engine. Anyone know anything about the car or guy?

I don't know of a Blue 99 Civic with a 4G63T, didn't realize that was possible....

There is, however, a Blue 99 Civic Si running around town with a B16A2 and it has been turbocharged using the equipment (Turbo, BOV) from a 4G63T. Home made turbo kits for hondas very commonly have many salvaged DSM turbo parts including piping, turbo, SMIC, bov, etc. It's a good looking/running car.

If the Justin you met was driving a white DSM with black/gray painted factory aluminum alloys, i'd say we are talking about the same Civic.

I know of the Blue turbo si and yeah your right its not a Mitsubshi motor :D . Oh and this is my first post Kurt sent me here I am a compact car owner/modifier! 8)

Without a doubt. It's a very nice ride, with much potential. He really has the drive to make the car run well, and that's something you don't see much around here.

Last I knew, he was working out a few gasket issues, and he wasn't really liking the turbo he had on the car at the time... I saw his car sitting at MickeyD's on grand central early tuesday evening or something... Next time I see him out I'll let him know about the site. Maybe I'll take the hatchcrap out of hiding and go find him sometime this weekend.

Hey, guys...yes thats me with the turbo ebp Si. I don't have a Mistu engine, but I am using a Mitsu turbo. I started with a 14b off a 1st gen manual talon, but the seals quickly went south...so I swapped it out, with a smaller version I had laying around the 13g off the same car, but the autotragic...I didn't have the right gasket, so we fabbed one up, and it is leaking badly. My 16g should be here within the week. I have the correct gaskets this time, and I am waiting for it to show up. Car pulled really strong...I am more than happy with it, considering I have less than a 1/3 of the cost of a traditional turbo kit..Next on my list, are some motor mounts and a new clutch.... 8)

I loved the stiffer mounts I put in my 2000 eclipse. Shifting was so much sweeter.

Yea, I am not only looking for motor mounts, but a set of shifter bushings also....can't wait.... 8)
