I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I was referred to the forum by Steven Hollis (zerocooldesign). As of now I am attending college at DeVry University in Columbus, but I'm originally from Marietta. I'm 19 years old and I've been working on my 1997 Saturn every since I got it.

A few of my mods are:

97 SOHC to 99 DOHC swap (engine and transmission)
Basic intake bolton and stock exhaust (replaced with a completed small TE04H turbo as of today).
Custom audio setup, but that's old news. It's all about performance now.

If anyone is interested, my cardomain site is http://www.cardomain.com/id/tristanlee85 and my personal site is http://www.plastikracing.com.

It's a turbo from a Plymouth Acclaim. Used, smokes a little, but it just needs to last me. My saving are up for a Super 60 T3.

I think I know you actually. I bet I used to go to school with you....elementary...Because if your user name is the same as your real name, I know I know you.

(Sorry, I'm drunk)

Why not something a little bigger than the super 60...I figure that would have been a good turbo for your sohc engine...I think you should look at 50 trims imo.

It is an automatic. The most power someone got out of an automatic was 250whp with a build transmission (over $2000) and it lasted about 2 years. I'm shooting for 200 - 220whp. I'm already on my 3rd transmission.

Well, what school did you go to? And what is your name?

I have heard the same thing. A buddy of mine has a s/c model, and he said one of the weak parts are the trannys..... 8)

That would be the weakest part of all Saturns (S-series anyway). I'm on the 3rd. Hopefully the turbo doesn't make it the 4th.
