I don't really like it, but if I had something to show off (like an NSX engine) I might think defferently.

I seen a civic w/b18 swap at a show that had a lexan hood which was painted body color, an in the center there was the H logo still in clear lexan where it had been masked off before painting, and under the hood was a neon tube.. as gay as it might sound it was cool for show points

Hmmmm....Yeah I can see that as being alright. It would be cooler without the neon, but maybe hard to see. Yeah, that's kinda cool. I love carbon fiber hoods that are painted down the sides, matching the body lines.

yea Nathan who has Adam's old civic has a cf hood w/painted sides.. looks good. I think the RSX is too clean of a car to go gay-ing up tho. Only way a cf hood would look right imo is if you had black wheels an maybe a black center section or cf center section of your wing.. hmm.. actually that would look pretty killer

agreed...........adam's car now looks sweet with the c/f hood but it wouldnt w/o the black rims complementing it..........

Yeah I know what you're saying. RSX lovers would kill for the milano red too. It wasn't offered until 04 so my model is the only one with milano. It's a nice little tricoat. IT almost looks orange in the sun and I think the hood might just take a shit on that.

milano red is seckzy.. Channell's si was that color.. 5% windows, 20% windshield, factory wing, factory wheels, magnaflow exhaust/testpipe, shorty shifter, and drop springs.. nothing gay done to it. I loved that car

honestly ive always thought the clear hoods were cool.. but i would never own one, thats to Flashy/ricey for me.. :wink:

I bet it'd suck to keep scratches out of. I guess I could call it "my camaro" since I'm racing this season, but anyways, it's hard to keep scratches off the windows and windshield. You have to used special cleaning solutions.

yea but the good thing bout lexan is you can buff the scratches out.. im thinkin bout gettin a lexan full skidplate for my 4wheeler

Lexan hood is like a show piece...but then again so would a c/f hood...

So whatever floats your boat I guess....I have mine b/c I got a good deal...but I am sure it will fade/crack/break on me.... 8)

I'm not a fan of clear hoods.
This is the only car where I thought a clear engine hood/cover would be acceptable:)
just my opinion thou.

Thats technically not a hood....lol..... 8) it's a clear device that covers the engine.. Aka a clear hood in my book.. LOL :roll:

Yeah, that isn't too bad, but, uhh, most of the time, I don't want people to know what is unde the hood, or be tempted to try to fV(& up my car. I don't even want people tempted to mess with what is under the hood.
It is a little ricey for my taste woo, but like it has been said if you got something a little unusual, then go for it.
