This is somewhat the begining of My Cars story, which i bought a short time ago..
After finding my self becoming more into the Sport Compact scene, i Found me a good deal on a 98 plymouth Neon which i thought would be a really good buy because alot of people had them in the Area, But it had some problems It was a Automatic, and it was wrecked multiple times.. from the rear to the sides. After getting all of the Body work finished and a Some Mods done to the car.. i decided after riding in a friends car, "I've got the wrong car" from then i went on a search to find me a Integra that lasted a couple months looking from Ebay to Local ad's which i couldn't find anything in my price range because i was looking for a newer car 94-99 integra (snake eye's) because ive never really seen a 2nd gen before so i kinda gave up...
One day going on a cruise thru marietta, I came across a 92 integra which was Cbp... i was In love, which within the next couple of weeks i sold my car a payed cash for the integra 8)

eww yeah what happened to the nice wheels. I mean they aren't nice enough to take off for winter, but they are too nice to trade for what you have now.

GSR wheels for CRX Si Wheels painted chipped black
Its hard to find those GSR Wheels with centercaps in good condition nowadays.
CRX wheels are pretty much given to ya if you talk to the right person around this area.
Oh well though, its not my car anymore.
I might know where a B18a with 100k miles on it for around 200 Bux Joe if your interested. So you can build up a seperate engine and not have much downtown with the teg.
Good luck with your quest for power.

I think it looks alright, could be a lot worse.
sidenote. I got to ride in a Type S the other day. My girlfriend at the time was hosting a prospective student who goes to morgantown high school who has a type S with some sort of catback. Well my g/f had a thing to do for a couple hours, so I was left alone with the hot chick from morgantown. Anyways she us drove down to the gas station to get us some snacks cause her and I were going to watch a movie (Gothika). She got on it a couple times and I can say it's a nice car, but I was thoroughly unimpressed with the speed it showed. I guess I just had built it up in my head, but it would clearly be stomped even by Adam's car before it blew up. She said she is trading it in and thowing down some cash to get an STI. Her dad wants her to have AWD if she moves out here.
cliffs notes: Rode in Type S, was unimpressed...hot chick coming to school here next year. I'm going to get head in an STI.
it's a stock n/a 4cyl.. dont know why anyone would think or expect it to be blinding fast.

My dad is in the market for a new car, he test drove an RSX-S, he said that turn in to corners was awesome, but the car could uyse another 40 hp, so he is leaning towards an sti now also. He said after he drove that car he couldn't take the smile off his face.

I was 100% positive it was a B18a from what I was told on the phone. Told me it had it stamped on the block and everything. Said it was out of a 90 model.
The funny thing is after I went there personally and saw it was a D16 motor and told him that, he tried to tell me it came in the second generation tegs also. That it was the high horsepower JDM one
Oh well im sure I can locate one for you Joe for cheap, might be a few miles away, but if you buy this CRX you wont have to worry about paying for gas.

HOWEVER, I can say that if you're stuck in a situation with no money to where you can't currently work on your car, then yeah, that's cool. But you still eat, sleep, and breathe cars. My love of cars is an addiction. I can't just say "Eh, I found something else." I'm confused. :dunno:

i mean yea i love cars, but at the moment im just tired of messing with them because i really don't have the money.... im gonna set my car away and do all of these plans later on when i actuallly have a good job... that pays decently well...
So i just figured for now? go with the other hobby play music...
i have a life, i have my gf, i have my job, i have my hobbies
but i love cars..
the love of cars is what brought this page and the ppl on it together
the differences of the ppl's interests is what makes it interesting
*lays in a puddle of tears*...that was so emotional
yeah he is a douche though
haha what can i say im an emotional guy..

I agree with Jay, loving cars is something that is a part of the person you are...either you have the love or you dont. However, i can sympathize w/joewhite on this subject. I decided to go back to college and get my life straight and hopefully end up with a good job in the end, but this caused me to make several sacrifices. One of which was to sell my 93 mustang that i loved more than any car that i have owned. I am unable to work many hours due to my school/hospital schedule and driving a 5.0 mustang- that i used to take to shows- as a daily driver wasn't exactly practical for insurance and gas price reasons. On top of this, my cavalier beater is on its last leg and i needed good transportation, so i bought my civic. But alas...when i graduate college in May.. there will be another stang in my garage...until then I will dump money into my civic that i swore would remain stock(yeah right..lol)

Driving a stock stang while building a civic is like having a hot wife and buying your ugly mistress fake tits.. it just doesnt make sense!
