OK, Robbie offered a Getaway in Stockholm (GIS) video party. Cool!!! :rock:
Its our mission to get all 5 vids available for the party.

I have a (336MB) video (Divx) of GIS2 that totals 30 minutes. The quality is ok on my comptuer but would welcome a better one of course. When I have time, I've been searching via a bittorrent or other means of getting another GIS version.

Please post up any version of GIS that you have and perhaps we can assemble them at an appetiser and put them on a single DVD for viewing.

They don't have to be converted and burned to DVD. That's the whole point of the theater PC. CODECs are easy to find, download and install(but that probably won't be an issue). Just burn the .avi, .mov, .mpg, .etc. files to a CD or two. Just trying to make it easier on you.

Actually was seeing if there is a way we can put it on a single DVD as a data file. (wheter its a mpg, divx etc..) That way all 5 can be on one DVD. They'd all be in some puter format.
That was my reason for the DVD thing. Unless we had orginal copies of the DVD movies, it looks like we are stuck with the lower resolution puter files...should still be ok thou.

I'd love to have all of them..1-5. I can then put it on a DVD along with the gumball 300 vids and I can make copies for anyone who needs them.

are you going to appetiser on Thursday? If so, bring em. (Cd's are fine) That would be awesome. If not, then perhaps you can give it to somebody going to appetiser OR we can meet.

I have the whole Gumball 3000 where they went from France to Spain then in to Morroco. Great vids on DVD but in a .mpg or .avi format I think. Another movfaster is suppsoe to bring em on Thrusday nite. (I deleted them off my puter, ugh) If I get them, and you are interested, I'll make ya a copy. Just Let me know Troy.

Well the reason I asked is because I had Episode 1-6 of this British (I believe) show that did complete coverage. The show was really well done and it had footage of at least two of the wrecks (F360 and Escort Cosworth). If it's the same show I'm sure everyone will get a kick out of it. I got them from RacingFlix.com a while back. If you want them, I'll lend you my password again lol.
