I have Cruisefest posters here at the shop if anyone wants a few to put up in different places. The dates of the show are May 6th, 7th, and 8th. I'm taking a large group of people with me and I'm roping off a large area so anyone is welcome to join the caravan.
Thanks.
The shop is at 1225 Greene st. in Marietta, incase you didn't know.

Cruisefest nationals is the largest car show on the east coast. If you haven't been there it is hard to discribe but if you have you will never forget. The web site doesn't do it justice. http://www.cruisefestnationals.net but in a nut shell there is some of the nicest cars you will see as well as some of the not so nicest. The is also THE nicest display of drunk and not so fully dressed women in this area. TRUST me it's a fun time. but like I said, stop on by and I'll get you a full page poster or check out the website.
hope to see ya there

So yea i would be interested in attending with you guys.. if my cars looking better by then :)everyone is welcome, car or no car. I mainly go for the "fun" I always enter my car but never have it judged. You need preregistration by april 20th to save a little money. i always stay at the fairgrounds because it's cheaper and I can keep an eye on my car all weekend.
just a couple of tips for those of you who haven't been there.

I have been to it before and I was not impressed. There were some nice cars there but it was mostly nasty ugly cars. There were drunk people everywhere causing problems. And the portable restrooms were over flowing with the nastiest stuff I have ever seen.
Hopefully they have made it better than what I saw?

Cars + trucks + suv + BOOBS + martigra beads + burnout contests + beer + you do the math. I was there last year. It rained most of it though. :-( it was fun.

Hydraulics competition too! That's always my fav.

God.. their website appears to have been designed by a drunken, and retarded cave-troll... :puke:
and this must be an image of their web designer...

This does not exude anything even remotely associated with Euro or Import anything in my mind.
But he sure looks like he'd be good @ the whole drunken debauchery part.
thats the dood who puts it all on.. we had him in Casto's impala w/us the 1st year.. he's cool as shit.
like i said, dont expect to see a bunch of trik rides, go expecting a party w/some cars inbetween.. if that doesnt seem like your cup of tea then dont bother going

Jay has hit it right on the money. BIG party with a few nice rides which makes it that much better. I always have fun and i've gone to the last 5. I started going when it was still in Dayton Ohio but it grows every year and along with that and a few other reasons they move it around. Lucasville isn't as far as Dayton. I talked to the gentelman that puts it on and he sent me a stack of posters and flyers so if you want one stop on by.
it was best when it was in dayton.. in that like park thingy where you could cruise around inside.

yea it was layed out the best because you could just drive around in a very long loop and everyone could see you or if you stayed put you could see everything from the comfort of you chair and beer. :)

yea, its a riot. You'd be retarded to not like going. They have a few real nice cars, but most of the time its alot of kids with their cars and alot of beer, women on the nightly side. Cant forget the bikini contests :-) they usually end up topless ;-)

it was definitely off the hook when it was in dayton...i have been to 5 cruisefests starting back in the late nineties, and it was a very good time....almost been arrested several times...kicked out of a few hotels...lots of nudity...tv's flying out of hotel windows...naked drunk girls in the rooms....some nice cars....LOTS OF BEER....it is a wild time. It is definitely not for squares or non partiers as they wouldnt understand and probably find the whole weekend pretty offensive...but i loved it( except the hilliard show, it sucked). Probably not a good idea to take young children to this show, in case any of you were thinking about it. If you dont believe me then ask Jay because he has been to at least every one that I have been at maybe more. It wont be the same this year without Mike Smith though....

yea dood, its a wild time.. once you step thru the gates it's pretty much lawless in there.. if you wana do it, think you can do it, or wana try to get away with it, then go for it... cause odds are you can

I loved the hilliard show. I hated the portajohns. It was a madhouse, but that's what made it half the fun. There were like 14 year olds walking around with beer. That was also kind of odd. But other than that it was a good show.
haha me an Channell were prob the ones handin beer to the 14y olds

Beer is a good thing as long as it is used to get you drunk and not as a ball bat! The secound one that I went to was in Dayton and someone thought it would be a great idea to introduce my face to his glass beer bottle. well after a evening in the hospital and a sh*t ton of money Cruisefest has declared that only plastic bottles are to be at the show. I think it is a great idea :) a little late but o well. but even through that I had a GREAT time that one and every other one since.

I don't know. If I stay, I'll probably only stay one night. It's hard to get out of work for a full weekend. But yeah, I'll drive more than likely. I haven't decided whether or not I want to show or spectate.
I can stay all w/end but its the fact of if i want to or not.. cruisefest isnt cool tho til night falls, drunken stupidity begins.. girls get naked.. ect. ect.
is there even gona be cars this year? lol
its turnin into more of a mardigras ordeal

there's some guys that just go for the beads and boobs. Also girls that go for beads, and booze. the cars are an added bonus for some of us nerds that think were cool driving old civics with a sh!t load of bondo/fiberglass in them.

Ha ha ha ha. Yeah, you're right. I like ass in the grass for the fact that it's more about the cars than ass....But it's still another good annual ohio car show.

Jay, I'll let you know what my plans are for that weekend really soon. I don't care if you ride along. I don't even know if I'm going to show or not. My biggest problem is my significant other. Ha ha ha. I'm not sure if I'll be staying the night or not. That doesn't mean we can't walk around and get fucked up. Ha ha ha.

I went yesterday. It was a blast!! LOOOTS OF CARS. it was probably 50% bigger this yr. and no mud. I've got lots of pictures. There were some nice cars, some ugly cars, and some were AWESOME. One that got my attention most, was this suburban with lambo doors in the front and suicide back, with 4 Kicker square 12's in the back of it taking the whole back up.
