I believe Tim Grubb/RallyEX went there last year. He might be able to provide some details and "must see" things at the event.

I think we might go...I doubt we could all drive in a caravan due to location, but we could meet there. I wonder if they allow video cameras?

yeah...we were all considering it and then we were watching Mishief Invasion and it came on and we were like "IT'S A SIGN." I was hoping to see some amazing cars on there, but we didn't really. BTW, there is a show called Redline TV coming on Saturday (1st episode) that is like an American version of Best Motoring. It might not be as cool as BM, but it still has nice cars, drifting, racing, and it doesn't look like it will be lame as opposed to most "tuner" shows. It comes on Spike and you can see a trailer at redlinetv.com I think.

Ummm... It's way more than 1 hour from morgantown.
Summit Point, WV is very close to Charles Town, WV... Which is in the FAR eastern tip of the state... About 45 mins from the DC-Metro area.
It is literally a 4-5 hour drive. Take 50 to clarksburg, then whatever north to morgantown, then 68 through southern maryland and merge with I70, and go south from there. Summit point is VERY hard to find without proper directions. I got lost and asked around, turned out I was less than 3 minutes from the complex. It literally comes out of nowhere.
And yes, I went to Hyperfest last year. I had a great time, but I am more performance oriented as are the majority of the people there. The NASA Honda races were great, the Spec Miata and Porsche 944 cup racers were there... very impressive. The US Drift Nationals were somewhat boring as the majority of the drivers are beginners that just took they're first classes in getting sideways.
Anyways, it's a long drive. You really should consider leaving in the middle of the night like at 1AM. With stops you'll arrive at nearly 6-7AM.
Don't stay for sunday, it sucks. Drive home and rest, Hyperfest makes for a long ass weekend.

The map is traditionally shown with the middle finger pointing up. As if I was to sign language you saying "F you... and here's an extra thumb".
Least thats the way I always show it.

try it tho it seems to make more sence this way.. use your right hand with your thumb facing ur left side. Now Use The F'u Sign then tilt 45* to your right.. Seems to Fit the map better?
