Description:
Slope down in your seat, put left hand at the 12:00 position, have your vision just above the steering wheel. (cap on sideways optional)
Ok, we have all seen it. Maybe there are some out there who does it. This has been going on for over 10 years and its a wonder why people get all screwed up in minor accidents. Instead of stereotyping the people who do it and cause another issue, (sry, i sterotyped u ganstas' out there in the subject line) I instead would like to ask this question...
What benefit is it to driving in this "type" of style?? (sarcasm on) Coolness? Get more chicks? Makes car stereo louder? Greater car control? Car goes faster?
I learned how to drive at an early age in Sweden on gravel roads and wet grass. Keeping your hands (yes, both of them) at the 9:00-3:00 position was not only recommended but necessary. Its stuck with me ever since. Numerous driving schools have only strengthened this postion.
So if you are one of "those" people who like the 12:00, sloped driving position, fess up and clue us in to the "secrets" of your style. I'm dying to know.
Just interested!
