Hey this is Aaron, i usually drive a Black 94 z28 camaro. Some of you probably know me, Iam usually down at the Cone n Shake in marietta on the weekends or sometimes during the week. My problem is I dont have a place to work on my car, and even if I did iam not very familair with doing major work on it. Ive had the car for a little less than a year now. So now iam looking for someone to do some work for me (shiftkit, wheel bearings, window motors) now, and maybe some work in the future (headers, etc etc). No iam not a lazy bastard, I just dont know what iam doing when it comes to major stuff and I dont want to mess up my car.
So if anyone is interested please get in touch with me either on here some how, or catch me in marietta.
Thanks,
Aaron
P.S. Naste95's car is slow...
typical f-body prob is the windows..
if they arent all the way up, or all the way down, and you open/close the door
the force of it closing screws them up

The window motors are dying. The passenger side will still move about 4 inches at a time then I have to let it sit for about 5 minutes then it will move a little bit more. The driver side is starting to move slower and slower so iam assuming its gonna die soon to. I already have both replacement motors, they just need put in.
Manual windows are soo much easier lol
lol yea but power is so nice..

Aaron, you let the cat out of the bag, I was telling everyone it was fast. If you need some help feel free to get ahold of me. I have a buddy that has a few f-body cars that we could pull some info from. Let me know!

Iam having the wheal bearings done tomorrow (thursday) morning so I should be out that night. As for the shiftkit, like i said it looks like a lego set from hell to me so i was kinda thinking of paying someone to put it in for me. I have a garage but it sucks (mud floor, very tiny) so it cant be done at my house either
If whoever was putting it in could give me a guesstimation of how much $$ they would charge to put it in iam sure we could work something out??
By the way naste95 you can get in touch with me thru aol/yahoo messenger if you want iam on as CoolRaptor2002 on both. Ill be in town off and on tomorrow if you wanted to get in touch with me my cell number is 740-336-0187 but it only works if iam in town. Whats your full name anyway naste95 I know your last name but thats it.

What all is involved in doing a "shift kit"
I know what they do, but never looked into one...?

Jonathan, did you drive thru williamstown earlier today by any chance??? Thought I saw your car...
So would you be interested in working on my car? Like I said all i have now is a shiftkit w/ a vette servo since I got the wheal bearings taken care of tomorrow. Basicaly since theres not really a performance shop around here, iam looking for someone to do performance work for me like headers, cam swap, heads, etc stuff like that. Iam not totally stupid I can do some of it just not anything in great detail like that.
Where is your shop located? Ill have my car at Boleys Transmission tomorrow morning by 8:30am getting the wheel bearings done but after thats done iam free till like 6pm so maybe we could get in touch some how? Or if your close by maybe I can stop by and check it out.
EDIT:::a shiftkit (from what ive been told) involves changing a bunch of springs, gaskets, and drilling some holes I think to allow more fluid to pass thru certain places of the valvebody so it shifts quicker. Hows THAT for a detailed description huh?

jon lives in williamstown so that was prolly him, and his shop is on 550...
easiest way to tell you is.. get onto 550 from rt.7 and go past the beer barn drive-thru.. and go around that bend.. and it will be on the right, its a big shop with like 3-4 garages

Jon, Ive past you in marietta and williamstown like 4 times in the past few days lol. Nice shop you have by the way. Iam waiting to see if I can get that posi rear end and gear set from a friend to put in my car, then once thats done ill come talk to you about putting that shiftkit in hows that?
Found out my posi is dead after an encounter with naste95  so i had the springs taken out so it acts like a regular rear end now. Iam checking on getting a set of 3:73 gears along with a posi from a friend of my dads to throw in there. Found out my car has 3:42's right now. Not sure how long it will take to get the rear end all figured out but once thats done ill be heading to Jons shop for the shiftkit install.
