Because I love to drive domestic crap! As some might know I DO HAVE A CRX! I decided last year to have it painted and in the process of doing it i also decided to learn some body work on my own so all the work has been done myself the only thing i wont do is the actual paint. So after winter and changing jobs I have finally got the chance to work on her. I could of had it done last year it sat at a guys house and he was going to fifnish the work but got some better projects and better paying ones so my car took a back seat thats when I decides to work on it myself. Shes been mine since '97.

you have a nice little project on your hands there.....
invest in an air compressor and a paint gun, and you could knock that out to....
if you need any help....holla... 8)

I think it wouldn't be to hard....the hardest part, finding a place where you could paint it, without alot of dust....
If it was a show car, maybe not, an autocross or drag car, maybe even daily driver....why not?

Thanks but NO THANKS. :D With all the hard work done many people are not charging me very much for the paint job, most paint prices are mostly prep work.

is that a D15B?
Nice cam cover job did you do it when it was on the car or off? I have been thinking about doing mine off the car. Though i know a guy who does powdercoating in belpre that would do it for pretty cheap. But i can't have the car down for 2 or 3 days to do it.
I can definately understand not wanting to pay to have those moldings shaved the body shop that quoted me said 175 to do it and shoot it with primer.

Its a D16A6 the valve cover was taken off and powdercoated using the DIY home kit in a old oven.

Funny, that's about the same shape my CRX is in. I got it in 94 (it's an 87), and haven't driven it since 97. I'm going to pull it down to the shed, maybe this weekend, and start getting her cleaned up while I figure out what to do about the mechanics of it. Need to find a brake and stretcher, so I can fabricate new fender lips, and will paint it myself.
Dave, the only skill required in painting is patience. If you mess up, sand it down and try again.

nah it looks alot better than in the pics it is fully ready for paint now everything is sanded and preped I started a new job a couple weeks ago so basically it up to me when i get off my lazy ass and send it out for the final painting. The pics were taken with all the plastic body panels taken off and the bumpers they have to be painted seperatly anyways.
I think ive seen that car.. you arent Dave Brunny are you?
