Awesome event!!!!!!
Great weather, competition, and a challenging course made for the best AutoX I've been to.

Me and Brad (Vette) were nose to nose all day with FTD's. Then we got stomped (and sandbag'd) by Bill in the glorious RX-7tt.
I got 2nd overall and 1st in class.
I was having some serious tire rubbing problems on Saturday night, and was thinking that Sunday was going to be a bag of problems.
Looks like the demons went away and I had a troublefree day.

The new HKS suspension was Awesome! My new super duper bubble gum Hoosiers were lots of fun and provided insane grip.

Tim did very well!! His lines were super smooth and he kept dropping times all day long.

Troy also did a great job. Going faster and faster all the time.

I agree, Chris Furby (drives a very nice yellow ITR in SM) is a great shooter. Check out his site for some really awesome pics.

Awesome job Davis! Congratulations! You guys must have scared the V8 crowd away with that course given the number of people in the top 10 that are not usually there. Cool stuff.

I’m hoping someone took video so that we can see what the course looked like.

Awesome driving by Davis.

Tim got me in HS, we traded fast times but he proved to be the faster guy. Although none of us can beat that monster Mini.

Agreed, was a good show though, Sean... It was nice having an equal to compete with and not having to deal with an evil Scirocco (that shouldn't be in HS anyways, from what I hear).

Although I'll never beat the mini, I'm hoping to get a lot closer... R compounds are in my basement, now just need some wheels to throw them on and I'll be set.... Selling my unused Tein springs on ebay to get set for Konis in a few months as well...

The course, weather, etc. were all amazing, best event I've been to yet! Stiff competition made this event a lot of fun.

I know nothing about autox, but watching the videos was awesome. I kinda wish i had a car just to do that stuff in. maybe someday.

Doesn't matter what type of car you have!

Everything from beatup old VW's to Z06's show up to race. Great group of friendly people make it the best chapter I've been with. (this is my 4th chapter) My bro-in law (SE Customs movfast name) races his Dodge Dakota R/T truck. Yes, a truck. It is really something to try. Next event is in June. Come on down! Well with our region we are never picky about who classes where. But yes I agree that Scirocco was fast, Jason Jackson in the Lancer is fast too whenever he runs.

But dang dude you'll be wiping me clean once you get R compounds. I just got a set of Falken Ziex street tires, maybe they'll be a bit better than my Walmart tires. I better start saving for some stickies.
