I hinted about this show earlier this week on the other post.
My friend Matt and I went to the "hangout" (Crystal Cove) this morning (7:00am) where you see the best of the best in exotic cars in So. Calif.
Here's a basic lineup of what I saw:
Porsches: 911's, 911 4S's, 911twin turbo's, an old Spyder, and my favorite: a couple brand new rare 911 GT2's.
Ferrari's: 355, 360's, and the new 430.
Lamborghini's: Gallardo's (v10-500hp) and the Murcielago (v-12 580hp). There was a black, yellow, blue, purple, silver and green...yummy.
Bunch of Ford Cobras. I think the white w/blue strips below was a real Cobra but the other were Superperformance ones...still impressive as their engines were very "nice". The concept Ford was an interesting surprise. That chrome paint job is pretty wacky.
A Ford GT also strolled in but for some reason I was still paying more attention to the Italian and German exotics. The Carrera GT and other exotics often show up too but we left after an hour to run some errands.
Of course it was fun to watch the cars come and go...especially the Ferrari's howling V-8's. It was fun to see all of these cars. If you spend 1 hour driving around Newport and Laguna Beach you are sure to bump into nearly anything exotic.
My friend Matt saw an Enzo yesterday and talked with the owner for awhile. The guy just put straight pipes on the car and Matt said that it was very LOUD. There's a few Enzo's in the area from what I've heard. I'll keep my eyes peeled.
All for now..See ya when I get back.
(sry bout all the pics but I'm not able to upload them to my site from where I'm at)
