we will be hanging out with the usual crowd.....foci....but we do let one ugly honda race car in too....not racing, just instructing until they figure where to put an i.t speced svt focus ...so for now just racing with emra....

been racing for 34 years...current car is an 02 svt focus....race some sprints but mostly run enduros. this year have been at or will be at vir, summit (ran the 1st race ever on the new shenandoah circuit), pocono, beaverun, the glen and lime rock. also instruct for emra, tar heel scc, svtoa, and nasa mid-atlantic...was out near you guys back on 6/3-4-5 at beaverun....ran 2 sprint races and 1 enduro...lucked out...2 3rd's and a 1st....and thanks for the welcome....wish our series ran at mid-ohio, but beaverun is as close as we get to ohio....from st mary's county md btw, out on the chesapeake bay

Gary... hmm Gary who... I know a bunch of the Honda Challenge and a few of the SCCA guys. Actually worked for Jon Kofod, Ian Carpenter, Andrew Z, Matt Foley when they ran the 12 hrs.

there are a bunch in race thread of http://www.focaljet.com believe it or not, dont own a digital camera...do have plenty of analog vhs from in car cam though...and this puppy only travels long distance on a trailer....very open exhaust plus extremely stiff springs and stucture make anything over 15 minutes in it, torture on the street....

i am computer illiterate....but if you use that link and go to the a/x-racing forum, look back a page or two for emra at beaverun...pics have some of our competitors, my enduro co driver and me passing the wounded viper in turn 10....he is actually stopped as his car died the previous lap...

thanks for the link!! and only in long distance shots does squirt look good....right side is fairly well dented from an integra that decided to use me as a brake at pocono a few years ago.....and left side has damage from a broken axle moment......and trailer queen, lol, someone accused her of being one when i mentioned it only travels by trailer...before i could reply, some of my volunteer crew sort of ripped him a new ahole.....any of you guys frequent mid-ohio...its only about a 9 hour tow for me....maybe do a nasa date there

wow.........thats all i can say...........i bet that thing is a blast to drive....i would love to race on open tracks like that, do you ever take it to autocrosses around you b/c i bet that thing can turn on a dime

our schedule does not allow time for a/x...some months we are on track for up to 8 days....inbetween i sometimes have to work lol...and squirt does indeed turn on a dime...she is set up to be slightly tail happy....she is a blast..and although we have broken lots of parts have never dnf'ed from a race......

on most emra race weekends we hold time trials also...our version of the scca solo 2...reasonable..was $150 at beaverun..included 3 1/2 hour practices and 3 time laps....any safe car can run, only convertibles need a roll bar...and a blast..thats the good news...bad news, we are not back to beaverun til next june.....dont know where you are located, but we got quite a few folkss from the cleveland area who said it was only a 90 minute drive

There in lies my fear... if for some unforseen reason my car decides to forget which side is up I am screwed. If I do get a new car next year I am coverting the Accord to a race car and taking it to the track. Pound the living daylights out of that little 2.2l motor.

I want to go to the track, but my brain tells me to get another car first.
