Installing a stereo in an eclipse with the infinitysound system. Even with the trusty hanes and the me internet i found ap roper view of the wiring harness. Damn pionner

dood theyre high-tech now tho.. you can get one that plugs into the factory harness an then to the back of the cd player. not like when we were kids an you had to pigtail everything together.

haha i wasent aware they made a harness for a 1st gen S10? one would think they didnt anyhow.. cause god knows he have never seen one used

i had to cause the pioneer i have uses a different plug thenal the other units its the 8500mp but now thati think of it i couldve gotten an other one and god im stupid

dude you could of asked me, I could have showed you how to do it in about 30 minutes total.

dude, I did that to my gs-t with the infinity system. it took forever! Id advise keeping hte stock headunit and amp combo, and use one of those high end taps to change it to the rca's for the system.

What does it have to do with the head unit plug? You get a wiring harness and you mess with its wires no the factory ones.
