i just recently dropped in my new b18b engine into my teg with about 77,000mi on the engine..well i am going to go a complete rebuild for turbo/nitrous on the old engine that came out of my car..and for the past 2 days i have been working on ripping my engine apart piece by piece..and i just figured you all may wanna see some pics of how the internals of a 260,000mi engine looks..so i will post on image station and supply a link..here for all who have dial up and have to view the pics one by one - Engine Pics (http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4288007989)

here are some intake/exhaust ports and intake runners with the extreme buildup of carbon deposits and what not..sorry about the quality..here soon i might have some very bright with a flood lamp..but you can see how bad they are..with these pictures i used a maglite flashlight..thats what the silver thing is u can see in some of the pics..

Here are some measurements and wearing on the valves/pistons so far..i will keep this single post updated as i get more measurements i will just add them in..

Intake Valve Stock Height - 1.668 /Worn Height - 1/8 short at 1.65

Exhaust Vavle Stock Height - 1.854 /Worn Height - 1.759

Piston Diameter Stock/STD - 3.188-3.189 Piston Diameter now - 3.186

Btw....imagestation requires an account to view....you would be better off to upload them to your movFast account.....so we can all view them.... 8)

some of them work for me, but ill get around to uploading all of them...

Also when they dont show up, right click and select show picture works for me.

wow, shows very littlw wear for the miles on the motor. thats very rare. it must have been well taken care of. :o

Well, when my volare was taken out of storage after 10 so odd years, Someone ran it with the old gas, I dunno how, but they did, and that led to excessive amounts of carbon. So like 1K ago, I steamcleaned my engine 8)
