What's not legal about it? I have no idea about ride-height regulations.

i think its how much of the bumper has to cover the front + rear tires if you were in an accident. That thing looks like it could roll over just about anything 8) :D

Your only allowed to go so high and I think it has something to do with the headlights or bumper also. You also need a modified sticker. And the tires can only stick out one tread correct me if I am wrong.

It's a matter of bumper height. I think I am one of the only few people around here to ever get an "illegal bumper height" fine. 55 bucks and a heated argument with the state police!

Wait a minute. 55? It was 120 bucks!
bumper height, headlight height, no part of the tire at all is allowed to stick out from the body, no modified sticker, and the licenseplate light doesnt work lol.

watson ruple built the motor, it was to be used in his stock car (modified) but he sold it an kept the motor.. it sounds mean as hell, he was runnin it on cam2 an went to the gas station to top the tank off tho cause cam2 has a bad habit of evaporating from sitting. it's got 1ton front/rearend not sure of the gears i believe them to be 4:56's but not positive. a bodylift and i forget what make of suspension lift but its huge. wheels are 15x15's with 49x21 tires.

Watson Ruple are building the engine for my dad's Nova right now. Its a 350 with a 400 crank and its being bored .060 over, I think that will make it about a 400 stroker.

there are so many stipulations to a modified sticker such as bumper height ... the furthest point of the sidewall of the tire is not allowed to protrude more than 1 1/4 inch how the modifications have been done... too many to mention... but bumper height is the biggy... i know i am having a hard time getting my toyota inspected and it only has a 3 inch body lift
