Well, i noticed I had dual exhaust the other day on the t-bird since i was looking and stuff, lol. Its dual from the engine, dual cats, then goes into a 2 into 1 muffler, then from there into another muffler. Now, if i were to open it up, and make it a true dual exhaust (stupid question) would i notice a deffinate power in crease if i just use 1 muffler per pipe?

it doesnt go into 2 mufflers, the 2nd muffler, or 1st muffler rather is another cat. exhaust setups on the tbird arent cheap, mainly because of the complexity and lack of demand for them. best thing yuo could do is go have exhaust ran duals to a 2-in-2-out small muffler an locate it centerways of the car then run duals out back to two tips. thats what most t bird owners do to try an mimic the mustang sound. however you have a v6 so.. yea it will help the hp numbers but its gona sound like shit. there just isnt no making a v6 ford sound good

I had a 93 SC and had the Flowmaster cat back kit. It actually sounded pretty good, but if you get it make sure you get the resonator with it. That is the little single "muffler" that is in the middle. Without that it definately sounds like crap. The resonator gets rid of that horrible drone at about 2000 RPM. Also, I was running straight down tubes with no CATS. If your running CATS it would probably be alot quieter. If your looking for more performance parts this website makes lots of custom parts for V6 T-birds cougars and mustangs. http://www.supercoupeperformance.com/

awesome, thats what i was looking for kind of. What if I just run 2 resonators, then 2 flowmasters at the back?

Would notice not a power increase but noise increase. What is it a 3.8 N/A? Dont worry about it it will just be louder.
