Hanging out at Circuit City

I met alot of people at CC last night. There were no fights, arguing or bickering. Everyone seemed to get along well. Well, there was the occasional comment yelled at a passing car on Grand Central. But overall, I liked the general demener(sp) of everyone.

But... (there's always a big but)... I did not like two things.

1. Aggressive motoring in the parking lot. Meaning, smokie burn-outs and a 1/2 donut. What good comes of this? Someone could get really hurt. I don't wanna smell roasted rubber. The markes/rubber left in the lot, I'm sure, isn't appreciated by the owners.

2. Littering. I've never seen such a site. There is no reason that you can't find a trash can to put YOUR trash in. Your car is not too-good to have an empty McDonalds bag in it for a couple of miles. I even picked up someone elses trash that was left next to my car so it wasn't blamed on me.

If you guys/gals wanna continue to hang out there, I suggest you stop doing those two things. If it continues, I will find another place to hang out. I don't want myself or movFast.com associated with it.

Other than that, I really had a good time last night. I met a few guys who really knew cars. Not sure if I'll ever understand the Honda lingo(read: b16, b18, gsr head, frame #s, ect.), but I'll try.

It was my first donut...it was a dare...I felt I was a safe distance away from the crowd..there's marks all over the place anyway...it had to happen sometime. Once was enough...you can't say it wasn't cool Robbie http://www.ls2.com/forums/images/smilies/smoker.gif

But yeah, Littering=NOT COOL...I didn't catch any of that (I left early) but someone should have said something to whoever was pulling that BS.

Not a fan of the burnouts in the same lot we are hanging out from...if you want to do that sorta thing....do it across the street in the Kmart lot...... 8)

as from the top convo.. i think CC is a good place to hang out big parking lot. hope we can keep meeting up there, if no1 messes it up by the 2 reasons adam exspressed above... SO KEEP IT CLEAN, AND UNDER CONTROL.. So we can hang there, so far we haven had any problems that i know of...

Also the cone&shake on rt.7 in marietta isn't a bad place. if anyone wants to just chill somewhere else sometimes. Same 2 rules apply so we can keep hanging out there.
