I hate black frames.. And it seems in the past 3 or so years allmost all companies have went to the black frames *yuck*. The tail section looks stupid as well.. One cool thing a bout it tho is look where the exhaust comes out at.

Looked at the pciture and couldn't figure out where the exhaust came out until I looked at an '05 model...then I realized the can was missing. that's pretty cool. I wonder if that will help keep your upper leg from getting cooked.

As for the frame color...don't worry about it...just repaint it after you scrap the mud and blood off.

I'd say it will keep some heat away by the looks of things.. Alot of bikes are going with underseat exhaust now fro mthe factory which is cool but they seem to get a lil warm.. The cool thing about that gp-style exhaust on this new 600 is the odds of burning your leg appear to be slim to none. My Gixxer had a Micron high side pipe an not only did it tend to melt the back oart of your shoe if you werent careful it was easy to burn your leg on as well.

Here's a pic of an 00' model 750 looks allmost identicle to the 750 I had.. Imo it looks 100x better than the new ones

exhaust is sweet...may have to trade mine in and get the new one...josh keeps burning his leg on my exhaust when i ride him double
