Welcome aboard!

Great car you have there!

I've been a long time admirer of the M3's.

FYI, Robbie (movFast site owner and driver of an EVO) and I are going to the BMW CCA Bukeye chapter Hi-performance driving education weekend in the beginning of september at Mid-Ohio.

I've been to it before and walked away with a much greater appreciation of what race car drivers do and also a great education on driving physics and control in my car.

Wonderful group of drivers (mostly M3's but some odd ball people like a couple STi's and EVO's stuck in there too :) ) and the level of driving instruction and seat time is fantastic.

Anyways, we'd love to see a Bavarian in the movFast group. I think you are the only one! Hope your clutch goes in smoothly and you can make to to the hangouts and upcoming meets and cookouts.

Hey, let's see some pics of your M3!!!

Danke,

Thanks for the welcome.

How were you able to find out about the school? I am in the BMWCCA and wasn't able to find one. I almost made one this weekend up at Nelson Ledges but the clutch kept me out of it.

Please if you have a link or a contact person for the school will you please let me know, I have been dying to get that heap on the track and run the piss out of it

By the way my car is Estroil Blue.

Great!

I know you'll enjoy it.

I'd love to do more of these a year. I think next year I'll do 3 or 4.

Hint: make sure you have good breaks for Mid-Ohio. I burned thru a good 1/3 of my pads last year. (130mph on the back straight) Tires take a beating too. But it is SO worth it :!:

I am about due for new brakes now anyways I hope to have my break system hopped up(race/sport pads with slotted rotors) by then. The stock ///M brakes are huge anyways.

Will you be attending anymore of them this year?

Just make sure your new brakes are still good for the street.

Its nice having big brakes

I won't be doing any more HPDE events but just the monthly autoX events.

Cheers

I would also like to get into autox. I once again didnt know they even had it around here.

If ya could give me a heads up when they are I would like to attend the first one to watch, just to figure out how it works.

After that, permitting I get all my ducks in a row, I would like to be a regular with you guys.
