well we had a big accident on last monday. 4th ID was turning there vehicals in to go back to fort carson. apparently they where getting rid of the lithuium batteries that run the singar radios and the civilian was telling them to vent them and throw them in the dumpster. i think you are supposed to keep them in the open air for a few hours when you do this to allow the gas to release. well they dumped about 90 of them in the dumpster. somebody noticed there was sparks of some sort coming from this dumpster and opened the lid. bam instant combustion. batteries start blowing up, 70 people got hurt and 2 got medavaced out to the nearest hospital by blackhawk. just thought i would share
