I REALLY like the styling of this civic...

Don't car for the powerplant...not a while lot of upgrade potential as far as being s/c and what not..

Anyway...take a look.

s/c? K20a is twin cam.

Im sure if magun mass produced a car for Honda they would make aftermarket parts for it. Similar to how its being done with new dodges. I really wish Honda would take more initiative to making aftermarket parts. They have started with there HFP parts which even though cost a ton work with the cars extremely well.

k20a is a damn good engine. As for a supercharger, id like to hear their reasoning for using one.

I know a K20 is a good platform, but superchargers just lack the ability to do significant upgrades....

lol I just now realized s/c was for supercharger not single cam. --8)
Maybe they thought it would be more "fun" to drive with the better power curve. Even though its a concept companies still tend to go for the wide market. I personally would like a supercharger if there was another option other then J/R. The throttle control would help me more in future autox events. Not to mention when im 5 minutes late for work.

Throttle respsone perhaps, better power curve....I doubt it...

Turbo's that are fitted for teh motor, have a better power curve than a typical 4 banger linear graph.

Supercharging rules!! I saw somewhere that S/Cing would be better for emission for the only reason of the cat converter and emissions. As you have probably seen lately more and more car makers are tring to get the cat as close to the head as possible for quicker heat up times making the turbo a less friendly option and the S/C a more likely option for this case only.

I guess we are both biased....

S/c tend to like a little backpressure, where turbo's like none...like Dave said, s/c tend to be the power adder of choice when coming from the factory as of late...

I guess I worded that wrong. What I meant wasn't that it would be "better" or "worse." That would really depend on the people tuning it. I guess the word consistent would be better. You don't have the turbo lag to deal with so if you where to let of the gas and get back onto it in a turn at like 5 grand you would always have the same HP at 5 grand. A turbo would loose spool so when you got back onto it your hp would be lower then normal. Probably wouldn't be really noticeable on a stock car but it is there. Also what daveb91 said would be a good reason why they went with it.

even better how bout we hook the Gtech up and run on dyno and RR mode to see a real graph of the power and g forces
