Dairy Queen in Vienna - - over all POOR service.. especially thru the drive thru..
i drive up, ask what a super chili cheese dog comes with.. and i get the 'thank you please pull around'.. i drive up and say, i didnt order anything!.. so i place my order thru the window.. and 10 minutes later i get my order.. so much for fast food..

Wendy's in Vienna - - drive thru, when i recgonize one perticular employee's voice, i can bet 10-1 my order WILL be screwed up.

W.G. Grinders - good food, call ahead and pick it up.. mmm-mmm-good..

I like River Cities

Tried the Boreman Wheelhouse last weekend. The selection wasn't very good but the mushroom soup was. I've had the lunch bar there before and its fairly good.  I'm torn...

Eclipse...

That is soooo true!! The DQ in Vienna is amazingly terrible. I mean really bad. I been to a ton of fast food places but this by far had the dumbest and slowest service anywhere!

3 weeks ago, my wife and I went to the drive-thru at that DQ. I waited no less than 12 mins in line and then another 4-5 min at the window. The young girl butchered our simple order of a milkshake and sundae. She gave me just the milkshake but I paid for both. She said she didn't. I said yes. I had the change in my hand. She couldn't take the incredible stress (I was being nice too) and asked for another guy/kid/manager to take the order. The sundae was there on the counter melting and he said that I owe him another $1.25 or something. I said no. This went on for some time. I was getting pissed and said that just give me the sunade and we are outta here. He didn't do it. He has maybe 1-2 brain cells.
I told him we have been in line now for 15mins and he said that "we are trying but we gotta serve food and stuff".
I told him that I will never come to this DQ again. AS I was driving off he yelled at me to "have fun!!!!!" (very sarcastic)

WE were soooo pissed. I really should've taken names and called him in but I'm not really the type that does that.

It was a terrrible experience. Glad to hear I'm not the only one. Maybe calling in is the right thing to do.

Anybody else??

P.S. Yes, Mustard's Deli has really good sandwiches.

I recommend the Dagwood. I love the sandwiches but could stand some improved management. The place looks like sheit and the workers are not the nicest. I still give it the .

Here are some of my Favs. More to come little later...

Lui Lui restaruant in Vienna- I give it a 90% grade. Good gourmet food, good service, good wine, although kinda of an elitist "club". Felt a bit outta place. Especially when are POS Odyessey Mini-van is parked next to $70K+ machines in the lot:) Expensive. $50 per plate avg.

Austyn's restaurant in Marietta- 99% grade! Me and my wife's favorite. WE think its the best restaurant in the whole Valley. Very good food. European/Asian food. Filet mignon and fish plates are extremely good. Deserts are delicious. Great atmosphere. Price range $10-17 per plate.

Spagna's restaurant -Marietta west side- 92% grade. Good Italian food. Canalone' my favorite. Beautiful restaurant. The homemade deserts are the best in area. Price range- $8-18?

House of Wines- Marietta- Really a huge store of just about any wine you can imagine. However they have great homemade food there. I've had their lasgna and felt it was delicious. Of course I may be swayed by their great import/European beer selection. ummmm. Price per plate: $6-15?

Busy Bee in Marietta-west side- Grade 93% A rather famous establishment. Been around forever. Breakfast is a popular time. Good good good food. Really inexpensive. Price per plate (PPP) $2-5? I use to go there all the time when I first moved to this area and lived on the west side. Single guy, barely cooks, walking distance= go to Busy bee:)

I agree with the busy bee comment, excellent food, and service, Third street deli is more expensive but great food, And the Net tavern serves great food and the portions are real generous.

Is that the place over by all the Union halls and Reserves center, off Camden?

If so, that place is ass nasty. I mean, I spent 8 years in the service, and have digested stuff that goats wouldn't eat, but that place was just... I don't know, but it was anything but decent.
