NAMED TITLE SPONSOR OF TRIPLE CROWN TUNER CHALLENGE
DUBLIN, Ohio (April 5, 2004) - TrueSports, Inc., announced today that Unlimited Audio and Accessories, based in Columbus, Ohio, will sponsor the sixth of seven events on the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course schedule in 2004. The Unlimited Audio and Accessories presents the Triple Crown Tuner Challenge will be held August 21-22 in Lexington, Ohio.
The event is a two-day car show featuring the hottest custom-tuned street cars from across the Midwest. Placed in different classes, cars like the Honda Civic Si and Acura RSX Type-S will be grouped together to compete in three separate categories - speed, style and sound - to judge the complete car. The overall winning driver will be crowned "King of the Streets." The "style" portion of the show will be sanctioned and judged by the National Custom Car Association (NCCA), with the "sound" element judged by the International Audio Sound Challenge Association (IASCA).
"As a new store for the audio and performance scene, Unlimited Audio is excited to be a big part of the Triple Crown Tuner Challenge," said Rick Stephenson of Unlimited Audio and Accessories. "The event is structured to showcase all elements of a custom vehicle, something our shop strives to help vehicle owners achieve. It's a perfect match for us."
Additional on-track action throughout the weekend will include a number of groups sanctioned by the National Auto Sports Association (NASA), including American Iron, Honda Challenge, Spec Miata, Vette/Viper Challenge and more.
"TrueSports, Inc. is thrilled that Unlimited Audio and Accessories will be joining us in promoting this event," said Michelle Trueman Gajoch, President of TrueSports. "The knowledge and customer base that they have already established in this industry will help us target our fan base while at the same time maximizing exposure for their business. This partnership is a perfect fit."
