Well, it looks a lot better in the pictures then it does in person!

Anyway, I finally got it home tonight...needs a differential, exhaust, tune up and maybe a clutch...so it should be a couple weeks before its moving around, but it should be fun none-the-less.

So with the arrival of another project does this mean the end for the Hatch?

And if this means the end of the hatch, does that mean the hatch is for sale?!?!?! I am obsessed with hatches :D

Perhaps...I'm debating keeping it as a winter beater...but if someone makes me the right offer I might be convinced to let it go.

You being a AWD owner, I can't believe you say things like that. I love snow in the EVO. The salt on the other hand, I could do without.

Hit the nail right on the head there Robbie. I could care less if just about anything other then my WRX or CRX gets rusty...

So whats the plans with the new ride?

Well, the bad differential is out. The interlock (where the driveshaft bolts to the diff) is held on by a large nut. That nut worked itself loose and the ensuing flopping around distroyed the diff.

Storm just got here. Nice little bit of hail falling :x

As for the car, get it tunning and then put a good set of tires on it and run it in stock class at the auto-x.

I wish! I got it running with the new diff and it drives fine, but it had an exhaust leak in the engine bay. So I did some work (read: ripped the exhaust system off) looking for the leak and came to discover a decent sized hole in one of the runners on the header right by the collector and the gasket where the header meets the downpipe being shot as well. So basically I need a new exhuast system from the head the the back bumper. I'm currently debating what to do.

The 25 miles I got to drive it was fun while it lasted though.

The Miata runs and drives once again. Guy at work was able to weld the manifold and I fixed just about everything else that I could in the exhaust system. It doesn't sound too bad now. But to answer the question, yeah, its in one piece again :D
