I bought this UPS off of the company I used to work for, Schott Scientific Glass. They are closing their doors at the end of August. I got a really good deal on it. I'm not sure it works 100%. It weighs about 500lb. I'm gonna let it go cheap to the highest bidder because I don't have the time to fool around with hooking it up. I have the manual that explains, in technical terms, how to hook it up. The manual also tells about the communications port.

Controled Power Company
MD 7500
7.5KVA
5.25KW
Input: Single phase 230V @ 28A
Output: Single phase 230/115V @ 32.6/32.6A

!!!NO RESERVE!!!

No I mean the Electronics class. Wisenheimer. And whats your deal you trying to look down on me? :? A guy with a Engineering degree should have enough EDUCATION to know if a UPS works. I will give you $5 for it.

Not looking down on you, I just get tired of peeps lazily leaving the "Technology" portion off of an EET program/degree. I take pride in saying that I have a BSEE degree. If EET peeps took pride in their field they wouldn't leave off the "T".

A guy with a Engineering degree should have enough EDUCATION to know if a UPS works.

If I had the time and inclination, I could put it through its paces. It would take more money in parts(SO cord and a 240V plug) and time then I expect the thing to sell for.

I personally wouldnt be proud of a BSEE I have worked with many of them and they dont know any more than I did. They were usually anal and always took the longest way to the solution to solve a problem or troubleshoot. Sometimes I feel sorry for BSEE because they wasted 2 extra years of thier life in school. I have worked around here and in the Columbus area and havent even seen a significant increase in pay from the 2 degrees. i have had the experience of working on everything from 13.8k voltage to a bench tech. So I have seen all levels of it and have always got stuck with the BS and there is definatly a reason its called BS. And if any one asked me my job title I always tell the Electrical Tech. Enough venting my $5 offer has been overtaken.

I've got too many irons in the fire right now and its taking up too much space in my garage. Did I mention it weights 500lbs.

Plus, I'd have to run a 240V circuit over to the rear of the theater.
