As much as I enjoy the Turbocoupe, I'm looking to get rid of it. I'm sure I've mentioned it before, but I'm a 3rd gen VW fanatic and have been jonesing for a new aircooled project. That's actually what I was looking for when I came across the Tbird and decided to try it out. And there's nothing wrong with it (aside from taking up the entire length of my garage... I have like 18" between the front bumper & fireplace), but I want to get back to my roots.
So I'm looking for anything aircooled (bus, bug, square, notch, ghia) but especially a bug right now. Preferrably a '75 Super for it's independant suspension. A complete car with at least a solid body.
I've got about $1600 in the Turd and would really like to find a trade, but if any of you see something for sale, I'd appreciate a heads up. I can't really do much of a search from down here, but I'm going to try to call the old man this weekend to see what he's seen.
