This is the K1 Attack and as you can see its not an accord its a kit car that uses 90-93 accord parts. Vary nice looking car for about $16k. Wish i could have one but i believe the American distributors stopped bringing them over. There was one on eBay a few years back that a guy only had halfway done and was going to give his 90 accord donor car and built 800hp H22 all for like 10k. Defiantly would be interesting to take that to the autox.

Looks great, but the structural rigidity of the car creeps me out.

Frame

The custom made tubular chassis of our Attack Roadster was sophisticately designed with extra attention to torsional rigidity and safety.
As can be seen at following table, the Attack chassis is very strong - it would take about 5500 lbs of force in torsion to make the chassis deflect 1 inch.
A full race chassis will handle about 5000 lbs of force to deflect the chassis same 1 inch.

SHORT CHASSIS ANALYSIS
Bending (ksi): 20.2
Displacement (in): 0.496
Torsion (ksi): 5.90
Displacement (in): 0.146
Mass (kg): 176.8

Material: Steel with a mass density of 7.82(10)-6 kg/mm3
Bending Load: A total load of 1000 lb of force was loaded in the +Y direction
Torsional Load: A total load of 1500 ft-lb of torque was loaded on the front of the chassis
Software tool: I-DEAS Master Series 8m4 from EDS

That's what I thought. I bet they just did some engine modifications to make it run on what the heck ever they made it run on.... peanut oil or something....

Yea I think it was something like that.. I forget exactly.

This sucker isnt even close to being an Accord either.. It comes with the h22 ect. option, but also has a ford drivetrain option. Still be a cool car to cruise around in tho.

no there isn't a lot of the accord there only like the windshield, drive train, suspension components, and some other wiring and stuff.

I think it'd be fun to build one. Build a turbo h22 for it. Wonder how it handles?
