What are your top 3 movies?
We can start an official movfast.com movie list and will be something to reference when we have movie nights at my house or somewhere else.
My favs to watch in a digital theater. (not necessarily fav of all time):
1. Das Boot, original cut with english subtitles (submarine movie made in the 80's..puts u-571 and Hunt for Red October to shame)
2. Lord of the Rings Trilogy
3. Braveheart

Das Boot was badass! I saw it when it was released and it remains memorable to this day.
Picking just a few movies is always tough, especially since I've seen a lot of movies and tend to like a great deal of them. So since many of these will be repeats, I'll go with some non-mainstream favorites:
Strange Brew
Blazing Saddles
Dirty Work
And if anyone wants to add me as a Netflix friend to see/share ratings and such, my email is ceezer99 at yahoo dot com.
1. Anything w/Kevin Smith. i.e. Dogma, Clerks, ect.
2. Gone in 60 seconds / Days of Thunder "it's a tossup"
3. Anything sci-fi
Man I need more room than just 3! haha
S.W.A.T. or Training Day, two of the baddest movies of all time

Davis, I bought Das Boot last year and have yet to watch it on the new HT. I need to remember to do that. It has a very good sound track if I remember correctly... lots of subwoofer action.

I did its in my list already. Best use of speeding up the film to look like the cars are going fast and best use of a K car as a cop car. 8) (oh no the cursed smiley we should ban the smiley)

How old are you? Everyone I know has seen it, and probably in the theaters.
1.) Bullitt ( Steve McQueen is awsome and the single greatest chase scene ever......)
Have you not seen Gone in 60 Seconds? And I don't mean that hacked up rehash that was put out a couple years ago... (But yeah, Steve McQueen is awesome. I have 8 or 9 of his movies on DVD)
Other good car movies -
Catch Me If You Can
Two Lane Blacktop
Death Race 2000
Black Top Highway
Born to Run (kinda cheesy, it is Richard Greico after all... but fun)
Cannonball Run 1 & 2
Smokey & The Bandit (after the first one it becomes less about the car, more about Burton)
American Graffiti
Eat My Dust
Dazed & Confused
Sorry H.B. You're the man, but.... Not good movies:
Deadline Auto Theft (Gone in 60 with a few minutes of added film)
Gone in 60 Seconds 2
