Here are the pictures of my winter project, not much but a lil bit.
Upgrades include:
full D&D exhaust system
BMC Filter
Vortex 1 tooth down 2 teethe up on the back, 520 chain conversion
hacked tail, custom led setup with blinkers built in.
stripped wheels, painted black, polished lip.
couple fixed spots on the plastic, primered, painted flat black enamel.
all and all, it's still an old bike. but, i like it. my touch added to it, for good or bad.
thought i'd share, Justin

Nice bike!
I would like to get a older bike to fix up, sell my jimmy for something with 2 wheels.
How is the Galant?
Its suprisingly in good shape for the age of it. Hell there's new bikes in town that look worse

yea the bike was in killer shape when i got it. except like i said it looked like the first pic plus purple wheels, and i just couldn't handle that.
Alot of people don't like the flat black look, but it's an old school bike so it needs an old school paint job.
evilnissan: thanks for th comment, the galant is in my buddies possesion said it is running killer, i let it set about a year and a half before i fixed it lol.
p.s bike is for sale; take 3000, to buy it though.
one of them things the only reason i'm gettin rid of it is becasue i need a bigger one. Handles great keep up with the liter bikes in the curves. but in the straights they get ya.

Yeah, I have to admit I’m not a big fan of the flat black. You might call me a stock junkie when it comes to factory colors on a bike like that. The only bike I ever really cared for in flat black was the color Asphalt on the early Honda 919. That being said, it looks like you did a good job changing it over to flat black.
What year is that bike?

1993 Yamaha FZR
Thought it was around that range. For some reason I always liked the looks of those but whenever I was in the market for one I could never find one local.
Honda had a similiar paint scheme to that bike's original colors at that time. I believe it was black, purple, pink and grey.
Whoever decided purple and pink were good accent colors should probably have been hung.

Neon colors like pink/purple/yello/ect. were all the rage in the late 80's early 90's tho.

Might have a line on a 78 Kawasaki ex-police,, 1000cc I think,, but I think it will be a little to much for a first bike for me.
..
Is the galant turbo now?
