Most places Ive talked to to said that i need to work at my job for at least a year. Now since Im "full time" I was wondering if anyone knew of a bank or loan place that was a little easier about giving out loans.

Hmm, don't know if non-veterans qualify for USAA. When I moved down here, I bought the Tahoe to help with the move and got the loan over the phone after only having the job a week. Prior to that, I was technically "unemployed" for 4 years.

Navy Federal is also a good one, but you have to be a Squid or Jarhead and there are only 3 places in the world that you can join at. One is not the MOV...

That credit union beside PHS, I dont remember hte name of it, But, all you have to do is open a checking acct. there, and put like $2 in it, and they will give almost anyone a loan. I bought a $6,000 eclipse, right out of High School.

^^ Thats where I have my loan @... Its Wood County Community Credit Union. Credit Unions will pay more attention to your debt ratio and compare how much debt to assets you bring in. Banks will look closely at your credit score and how much equity you have in what you are trying to obtain the loan for. To help yourself out:

- Try to put as much money down on the vehicle (that way they cant lose..)

- Get a cosigner (If you can get a cosigner, just tell them to cosign for one year, or until your credit score is more favorable, then go out on your own for a loan)

- Obviously get a good deal on whatever you are wanting to finance so when they look up the NADA value, you can start out with some equity.

^^ ok you probably already knew this stuff, Ive just jumped through the hoops soo many times in the past couple of years...
